PostSubject: Meltdown 2/11/08 Results   Sat Aug 23, 2008 8:35 am

Leroy Brown – Red
Jimmy DeMarco – Green
Ed Richards – Violet
Dante Diablo – Blue

Assorted pyros go off as the camera swirls around the crowd and focuses at the announce table.

Hello Meltdown fans. I am Leroy Brown here with my broadcast colleague, Jimmy DeMarco and what a show we have planned for tonight.

Yes, Leroy. Tonight we will witness not 1, not 2, but 3 huge main events. After last week’s Meltdown Mismatch went up in smoke, this week’s Meltdown was set up.

We will witness The Sound taking on Jamarius Jackson, Jose fighting Erik Michaels, and Ricky Reynolds facing Dash Blade as our main events for the evening.

And we will be getting started right away with some singles action.

Pretender by Foo Fighters blasts through the arena as Black Dagger makes his way to the entrance ramp. Black Dagger slowly walks down the ramp and climbs onto the apron. Black Dagger climbs over the top rope and blood drips from his mouth.

The following match is your opening contest and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, hailing from Manchester, England and weighing in at 280 pounds, Black Dagger!

Here is the man who last week discovered he would be facing that freak Dante Diablo at Apocalypse.

Say what you will about Dante Diablo, he has proved to be better by defeating Black Dagger last week to advance to the finals of that tournament.

That was a DQ win, when Black Dagger got tired of Diablo and his cronies and took them out. Plus, The Chaos Kid defeated Dante Diablo in the finals.

Bang Your Head by Riot plays as Damien Jones enters with his drumsticks. He walks down the ramp, climbs up the steel steps, and enters the rings. He gives his drumsticks to Ed Richards and goes to the second rope to taunt.

And his opponent, hailing from Washington DC and weighing in at 249 pounds, Damien Jones.

Well, Damien Jones is coming off a loss last week against the newcomer Colton and now tonight he must take on Black Dagger. Damien Jones seems to be having some bad luck.

Also, he needs momentum going into Apocalypse as he and The Sound take on Supply and Demand for the tag titles.

Ding-ding-ding

Black Dagger and Damien Jones lock up and Dagger kicks Damien in the midsection. Dagger grabs Damien and shoves him into the turnbuckle. Dagger runs at Damien and hits a clothesline and Damien moves forward and falls to the mat face first. Dagger lifts up Damien and kicks him in the midsection before elbowing him to the face. Dagger runs across the ropes and nails a big boot to the face of Damien. Dagger covers. 1-2-kick out. Dagger pushed the referee back and picks up Damien. Damien powers out and hits a spinning wheel kick to the face of Dagger. Dagger stumbles back and Damien runs at him and hits a clothesline, but Dagger stays on his feet. Damien walks back and runs at Dagger again. Damien nails another clothesline, but Dagger manages to remain on his feet. Damien walks back and runs at Dagger for a third time, but Dagger attempts a big boot, which Damien avoids and follows through with a third clothesline knocking Dagger off his feet. Damien covers Dagger. 1-2-kick out. Damien goes to the top rope and awaits Dagger’s revival. When Dagger gets back to his feet, Damien jumps off the top and hits a missile dropkick. Damien stomps away at the back of the head of Black Dagger before picking him back up. Damien runs across the ropes, but Dagger counters with a kick to the gut and nails the Death Drop. Dagger covers Damien. 1-2-kick out! Dagger is surprised as he gets back on his feet and picks Damien back up. Dagger attempts a Dead End, but Damien struggles out and counters it into a modified DDT. Damien covers Dagger slowly. 1-2-kick out. Damien rolls off of Dagger as Dagger starts to revive. Damien gets up also and they lock up yet again. Dagger gets the best of Damien again with a kick to the midsection and Powerbombs him into the turnbuckle. Dagger falls back and crawls over to Damien. Dagger covers Damien, but Damien immediately puts his foot on the rope. Dagger gets off Damien and drags him to the center of the ring and covers him again. 1-2-kick out. Dagger lifts Damien up and Irish Whips him into the turnbuckle. Dagger runs at Damien, but Damien moves and quickly hits the Jones Breakerbomb. Damien covers Dagger. 1-2-KICK OUT! Damien is furious and picks up Dagger, but Dagger powers out and knees Damien in the gut. Dagger then nails the Dead End and coves Damien. 1-2-3.

Here is your winner, by pinfall, Black Dagger!

That was a good match for Black Dagger. He gains even more momentum going into his match against Dante Diablo.

Yea, but Damien hasn’t won in awhile. He needs a victory if he wants to be in a good mindset for his tag title match at Apocalypse.

Dagger exits the ring and walks to the back victoriously.

PostSubject: Re: Meltdown 2/11/08 Results   Sat Aug 23, 2008 8:38 am

Up next will be a Triple Threat tag team contest. Three teams will fight until one team gets a victory over another.

Only two men can be in the ring at one time, despite there being 3 teams. It will be interesting to see these 3 completely different teams in one ring.

Crank that Superman plays as Tristian Artist and Zachary emerge from the back and make their way to the ring. They walk down the ramp and Tristian slides into the ring while Zachary climbs the steel steps. They taunt together.

The next match is a Triple Threat Tag Team match up and it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing the team number 1, first hailing from San Jacinto, California and weighing in at 235 pounds, Tristian Rampage Artist and his partner, hailing from Melbourn, Australia and weighing in at 256 pounds, “The Eliminator” Zachary!

These two men are coming off a huge victory over the Dark Republic and it should be interesting to see if that momentum swings their way again and they manage to pick up yet another victory.

The Fight Song plays as the arena is shrouded with red mist. Spawn and Hybrid enter the arena and slowly walk down the ramp. They both slide into the ring and lock eyes with Tristian and Zach.

Introducing team number 2, hailing from the City of Satan, they are Dark Republic!

And here is Dark Republic. Last week after their match, Dante Diablo had scolded them and promised punishment. Maybe that’s why they’re walking so slowly?

A combination of Metalingus and Burn in My Light plays as The Chaos Kid and Colton enter the arena. The Chaos Kid sprints down the ramp as Colton walks behind him. The Chaos Kid slides into the ring and Colton climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring.

Finally, introducing team number 3, weighing in at a combined 464 pounds, they are The Puerto Rican Express!

Here is the fresh young tag team known as The Puerto Rican Express. They have all been on a roll lately with The Chaos Kid winning last week’s tournament and Colton winning his debut match.

Ding-ding-ding

Colton and The Chaos Kid go onto the apron as Dark Republic decides that Spawn shall start the match for their team against Tristian Artist.

Looks like Tristian Artist and Spawn will start this match off.

Tristian Artist and Spawn circle each other and lock up. Tristian gets thrown back into his corner and Zach tags himself in. Tristian gives him a dirty look and exits the ring. Zach locks up with Spawn and kicks Spawn in the knee. Zach hands out a few knife edge chops to Spawn and backs him up into the corner and goes to the second rope. He then starts punching away as the crowd counts along. 1…2…3…4…5…Colton runs around the apron and punches Zach, who falls off the second rope. Spawn recovers and locks on the Boston Crab. Zach slowly makes his way to the ropes, but Spawn brings him back to the middle of the ring. Colton enters the ring and kicks Spawn in the face, breaking the hold. Colton drags Spawn over to his corner and goes back onto the apron before tagging himself in. Colton erupts into the ring and knocks Hybrid and Tristian off their aprons and awaits Zach’s revival. Zach gets up and Colton kicks him in the midsection and nails a Twist of Fate. Colton covers Zach. 1-2-kick out. Colton goes to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash and covers Zach again. 1-2-kick out. Colton gets upset and lifts up Zach, who powers out and kicks Colton in the midsection. Zach runs across the ropes and goes for the Concussion Kick, but Colton moves at the last second and hits a backcracker. Colton covers Zach again. 1-2-kick out. Colton argues with the ref before picking Zach back up and throwing him into the corner. Colton runs at Zach, but Zach ducks out at the last second and scurries over to Tristian. Tristian erupts into the ring and Spears Colton. Tristian then knocks The Chaos Kid off the apron and locks on the STFU on Colton. Colton screams in pain, but manages to roll over and Tristian lets the hold go. Hybrid enters the ring and hands out a Spear of his own to Tristian. Zach then enters the ring and nails his own Spear on Hybrid. Colton recovers and kicks Zach in the midsection and hits the Corkscrew Neckbreaker. Zach rolls out of the ring. Colton locks on the High Angle Boston Crab on Tristian, but Spawn enters the ring and kicks Colton. Spawn then hits the vertical hangtime Suplex and goes back onto the apron. Colton slowly makes his way to his corner, but Spawn re-enters the ring and grabs Colton’s leg. Colton gets back to his feet with Spawn still holding his leg and nails an Enzuiguri on Spawn and tags in Chaos.

…I’m lost, Leroy…who are the legal men?

I believe that The Chaos Kid and Tristian Artist are, but I’m not really sure.

Spawn runs at Chaos, but Chaos locks on the Cripple Crossface on Spawn. Spawn taps out, but he’s not the legal man. Tristian breaks the hold with a kick to the back of Chaos’s head and lifts up Chaos. Tristian lays Chaos out with a Spinebuster. Tristian covers Chaos, but Chaos kicks out at 1 and a half. Tristian lifts Chaos back up and takes him down with a Powerbomb. Tristian covers Chaos. 1-2-kick out. Tristian is absolutely furious at this point and lifts Chaos onto his shoulders and goes for the FU, but Chaos lands on his feet and hits a Superkick to the jaw of Tristian. Chaos goes to the top rope and hits a Moonsault on Tristian. Chaos covers Tristian. 1-2-kick out. Chaos locks on the Cattle Mutilation on Tristian. Tristian utters out screams until Hybrid enters the ring and kicks Chaos on the back. Chaos lets the hold go and clotheslines Hybrid from behind, sending him to the outside. Colton goes to the outside and attacks Spawn and Hybrid. Colton kicks Spawn in the face and locks on the Anaconda Vice for about 30 seconds, before nailing a Corkscrew Neckbreaker on Hybrid on the bare arena floor. Inside the ring, Colton nails Tristian with the Cop Killa. Zach enters the ring and misses a Big Boot on Chaos and Chaos attempts a Dropkick, but Zach sidesteps and avoids it. Zach lifts Chaos up and wraps his hand around the throat of Chaos. Zach goes for the Chokeslam, but Chaos counters with a DDT. Chaos quickly goes to the top rope and nails a Dragon Cyclone Press on Tristian. Chaos covers Tristian. 1-2-3.

Here are your winners, by pinfall, The Puerto Rican Express.

That was a great match by those three great teams, but in the end, The Puerto Rican Express emerged supreme.

Another great week for The Chaos Kid and Colton. But can they keep it up next week?

Colton and The Chaos Kid walk to the back together as well as Tristian and Zachary. Spawn and Hybrid remain in the ring.

The Fight song plays as Dante Diablo comes to the ring.

What the hell was that!?!? How dare you two lose twice in a week?! You are disgracing the good name of Dark Republic. I swear to god, if you two lose again, I will destroy the both of you and I will kick you out of Dark Republic and find someone else who wants to join me in my quest for superstardom and gold. Obviously, you two pathetic beings do not care for success. Well, if you wish to remain with me, then next week I had better see some improvement in the both of you!

Dante nails the Soul Reaper on Spawn before hitting the Darkness Falls on Hybrid. Hybrid and Spawn exit the ring.

This contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, hailing from the City of Satan and weighing in at 245 pounds, Dante Diablo!

Well, he just took out his underlings for disappointing him yet again this week.

Who gives a damn? They all suck and that’s why none of them have won fairly in these past few weeks, plain and simple.

The lights go out and a wall of fire erupts as Burned plays as Nightmare enters the arena. Nightmare drops to one knee and points to the heavens. Nightmare walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Nightmare climbs over the top rope and stares directly into the eyes of Dante Diablo.

Nightmare has had his hands full as of late with Edgecutioner. Last week, I have to believe that he would’ve defeated The Chaos Kid had it not been for Edgecutioner’s music distracting him and he would’ve faced and possibly defeated his opponent here tonight in the finals.

Nightmare had a great opportunity to get past his past with Edgecutioner, but he wasn’t focused and that cost him the match. Now he will go into Apocalypse with a Hell in a Cell match awaiting him against Edgecutioner. Only the insane can go into the match and come out the same.

So Nightmare is in a good place, because lord knows he’s not mentally balanced.

Ding-ding-ding

Dante runs at Nightmare and Nightmare takes him down with a clothesline right away. Dante springs back up and measures Nightmare. Dante locks up with Nightmare, but Nightmare throws Dante into the turnbuckle and runs at him. Nightmare hits another clothesline and Dante falls in the corner. Nightmare runs across the ropes and kicks Dante in the face as Dante falls to the side. Nightmare lifts up Dante and Dante powers out. Dante kicks Nightmare in the gut and hits a DDT on him. Dante stomps on Nightmare before lifting him up hitting him with a Dropkick. Nightmare goes back and catches his balance in the middle of the ring as Dante runs at him and nails a Discuss Clothesline. Dante covers Nightmare. 1-2-kick out. Dante picks up Nightmare and Irish Whips him into the corner. Dante runs at Nightmare and Nightmare avoids being hit and runs across the ropes. Nightmare nails a Big Boot to the face of Dante and Dante goes through the middle and top ropes to the outside. Nightmare quickly follows. The ref starts a count. 1…2…Nightmare throws Dante into the ring post…3…4…5…6…Nightmare throws Dante into the ring and re-enters himself. Nightmare covers Dante. 1-2-kick out. Nightmare lifts up Dante and hands out some hard rights which are returned by Dante. They continue to strike each other until Dante pokes Nightmare in the mask where his eye is beneath it. Nightmare seems unaffected and returns the poke in the eye with a kick to the midsection to Dante. Nightmare nails Dante with a Piledriver. Nightmare covers Dante. 1-2-kick out. Nightmare gets back to his feet and runs across the ropes. Nightmare hits a Leg Drop on Dante. Nightmare picks up Dante and hits him with the Chokeslam from Hell. Nightmare covers Dante yet again. 1-2-kick out! Nightmare is surprised as he lifts up Dante yet again, but is met with a kick to the midsection. Dante lifts Nightmare up for a Brainbuster, but can’t hold his weight up collapses with Nightmare. Nightmare takes little damage and is back to his feet. Nightmare lifts Dante up and attempts a Tombstone Piledriver, which Dante struggles out of and attempts a Darkness Falls which Nightmare breaks out of. Dante runs across the ropes and is met with a Black Hole Slam. Nightmare covers Dante. 1-2-3.

Here is your winner, by pinfall, Nightmare!

What a victory for Nightmare as he defeats his partner’s opponent at Apocalypse in one-on-one action.

Hahahahahaha…Nightmare took out Dante Diablo so easily. Is this a sign of things to come for him at Apocalypse against Black Dagger? I sure hope so.

PostSubject: Re: Meltdown 2/11/08 Results   Sat Aug 23, 2008 8:41 am

Up next will be the first of three main events this evening.

After last week’s insane Meltdown Mismatch, there was a huge brawl that ensued. That set up three very crucial matches for tonight’s show.

Battery blasts through the arena as The Sound emerges from the back with his guitar. The Sound walks down the ramp playing chords and climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. He goes to the middle of the ring and plays more notes and chords on his guitar before handing it over to Ed Richards.

The following contest is scheduled for on fall, introducing first, hailing from England and weighing in at 245 pounds, The Sound!

And here comes The Sound. At Apocalypse he will be facing off against Supply and Demand with his tag partner, Damien Jones, for the ROG World tag titles.

The Sound is doing very well so far, but Damien needs to step his game up.

The Sound has a big opportunity tonight as he will be facing one half of Supply and Demand.

Tell Me When to Go plays on the speakers as Jamarius Jackson enters the arena. Jamarius Jackson walks down the ramp, dancing to the beat of his entrance music. He slides into the ring and gets into the face of The Sound and backs up.

Introducing his opponent, hailing from The Bronx, New York and weighing in at 245 pounds, he is one half of the ROG World Tag Team Champions, he is Jamarius Jackson!

Wow, what disrespect from Jamarius Jackson.

That’s not disrespect. He’s just getting into the head of his opponent.

Ding-ding-ding

The Sound and Jamarius Jackson lock up and move around until Jackson puts Sound in a headlock. Sound escapes and throws Jackson across the ropes. Jackson counters with a shoulder block that knocks Sound down and runs across the ropes. Sound rolls over and Jackson jumps over Sound. Sound springs back up and locks on an early Cripple Crossface. Jackson struggles and manages to flip over and reach the bottom rope. Jackson exits the ring under the bottom rope. Sound waits in the middle of the ring. The ref starts a count. 1…2…3…4…5…6…Jackson fakes going back into the ring which sends Sound over and Jackson grabs his leg and sweeps him down to the mat…7…Jackson re-enters the ring. Jackson gets on top of Sound and starts hitting jabs to the face of The Sound. Sound throws Jackson off and gets back up. Sound runs at Jackson and Jackson reverses with a Drop Toe Hold. Jackson follows through and locks on a Boston Crab. Sound attempts to reach the ropes unsuccessfully, but manages to reverse the Boston Crab into a Sharpshooter. Jackson struggles and screams, but Sound has him in the middle of the ring. Jackson bites his hand to avoid tapping. Jackson starts to fade after using most of the energy he had trying to escape. Jackson has one final burst of energy and manages to escape, but Sound immediately locks the Sharpshooter back on. Jackson is a bit closer to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope, but Sound drags Jackson back to the center of the ring. Jackson again screams in utter pain and begins to fade again. Jackson seems to be out now and Ed Richards grabs his arm and brings it up. Ed lets go of his hand and it smacks the mat.

1!

Ed grabs his hand again and lifts it up. Ed lets go of his hand and it smacks the canvas yet again.

2!

Ed takes his hand for a third time and brings it up. Ed lets go, but Jackson keeps his hand up and powers out of the Sharpshooter.

Look at that. Jackson still has some fight in him!

Yes, but how long can this energy possibly last? He almost passed out from a leg submission. That can’t be a good sign.

Jackson runs at Sound and hits an Enzuiguri and covers Sound. 1…2…kick out. Jackson awaits Sound’s revival and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker. Sound rolls around on the mat holding his neck. Jackson goes to the top rope and mocks Sound by pretending to play the guitar before hitting an Elbow Drop. Jackson covers Sound again. 1…2…kick out. Sound begins to pick himself up using the middle rope as leverage, but as soon as he gets back to his feet Jackson runs across the ropes and hits the Drive By. Sound falls to the mat and rolls under the bottom rope and outside of the ring. Sound falls to the arena floor and Jackson follows. Sound crawls over to the announce table and Jackson walks over laughing at him. Sound uses the announce table to pick himself back up. Jackson swings at Sound, but Sound catches his fist and returns with a shot of his own. Jackson strikes back and Sound kicks Jackson in the midsection. The ref’s count is now at 5 as Sound throws Jackson into the barricade. Jackson’s head springs off the barricade and he starts to bleed. Sound throws Jackson back into the ring as the ref counts to 7. Sound covers Jackson. 1…2…kick out. Sound goes to the top rope and hits an Elbow Drop and starts to taunt for the crowd as the crowd goes nuts for The Sound. Sound measures Jackson as Jackson gets to his feet and kicks Jackson in the midsection and lifts him up for the Sound Effect. Sound walks around the ring with Jackson lifted up, but Jackson struggles out and reverses it into a Sunset Flip. 1…2…kick out. Jackson rolls backwards and gets back to his feet and hits the Tagged to Sound’s face and then starts hitting rapid jabs to the face of Sound. Sound falls back.

FIFTEENTH STREET FLURRY!!! IT’S ALL OVER!

Jackson covers Sound. 1…2…3.

Here is your winner, by pinfall, Jamarius Jackson!

Jamarius Jackson rolls off of The Sound and celebrates in the ring. Ed Richards holds Jamarius Jackson’s hand up in victory before Jackson leaves. Jackson starts walking up the ramp but returns to the ring. Jackson lifts up The Sound and hits more rapid jabs to the face and sternum of The Sound as he falls to the canvas. EMTs go to the ring and check on The Sound as Jackson walks up the ramp and laughs at The Sound. The EMTs help Sound to his feet and Sound walks to the back with a sick look on his face.

What a despicable showing from Jamarius Jackson. It was a great match and he had won this High Stakes rematch fairly, but then he had to come back and attack a fallen Sound.

Great strategy from Jamarius Jackson in my view. He has to face him in a few short weeks and an injured opponent is an easier opponent to defeat.

Now it’s time for our second main event match of the evening.

The former ROG World Heavyweight Champion, Erik Michaels, will take on the “Puerto Rican Sensation” Jose.

Over the weekend, Jose won the tag titles at a different wrestling promotion, so he must have lots of momentum for this match up.

Or he could be out of energy. Word is that 3 of the 4 guys in that match also work here in ROG, but I can’t give out that information due to some law issues that could get involved, and we all know that the wrestlers of ROG are no joke.

Metalingus plays as Jose erupts from the back and sprints down the ramp ignoring fans hands on his way to the ring. Jose slides into the ring and jumps onto the second rope and poses for the fans who boo him heavily.

The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first hailing from Greenwich, Connecticut and weighing in at 215 pounds, Jose!

Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N’ Roses plays as Erik Michaels enters the arena. Erik Michaels looks around the crowd with his hands on his waste and starts to walk down the ramp handing out high fives to the fans in the front rows. Erik Michaels walks up the steel steps and enters the ring and locks eyes with Jose.

And his opponent, hailing from Miami, Florida and weighing in at 213 pounds, Erik Michaels!

And here is the man going to Apocalypse in a #1 contenders match against his opponent’s partner, The Chaos Kid.

And what a match that should be, but for right now he has his hands full with the #1 contender to the X-Rated title, Jose.

Ding-ding-ding

Jose and Erik Michaels exchange chops in the center of the ring. Jose forces Erik Michaels against the ropes and Irish whips Michaels against the ropes. Jose goes for a clothesline, but Michaels ducks and avoids. Michaels then unleashes a strong right hand to the face of Jose sending Jose stumbling backwards. Michaels runs at Jose and Jose dropkicks Michaels. Michaels falls to the mat and Jose runs across the ropes. Jose nails a running senton on the motionless body of Michaels. Jose grabs the leg of Michaels and twists it. Jose falls and sits on the leg while twisting as Michaels crawls towards the bottom rope. Jose increases the pressure as Michaels gets a hold of the bottom rope. Jose refuses to let the hold go as the ref argues with him and starts a count. 1…2…3…4…Jose lets go of the hold and quickly reapplies it. Michaels stays on the bottom rope as the ref restarts his count. 1…2…3…4…Jose lets go of the hold and the ref forces Jose to get away from Michaels. Jose and the ref argue as Michaels gets back to his feet. Jose runs at Michaels, but Michaels ducks down and grabs the top rope down as well sending Jose over the top rope and onto the arena floor. Michaels gets to his feet and seems to have a limp in his left leg as he walks to the middle of the ring. The ref starts his count. 1…2…3…Jose gets back to his feet but falls back down…4…5…Jose gets back to his feet again and re-enters the ring at the count of 6. Michaels runs at Jose and kicks him in the midsection and follows that up with a Fisherman Suplex. Michaels follows through and hooks the leg of Jose. 1…2…kick out. Michaels locks on the Inverted Sharpshooter on Jose as Jose screams in pain and struggles to escape. Jose reaches the bottom rope, but Michaels refuses to let go of the hold just like Jose did earlier in the match. The ref tries to break up the hold and yells at Michaels before starting his count. 1…2…3…4…Michaels manages to yank Jose off the bottom rope and bring him back to center ring. Jose continues to scream as he slowly turns his body over. Jose manages to turn his entire body over and kick Michaels off of him.

What a reversal from Jose.

Michaels has done a great job of keeping Jose grounded thus far. He hasn’t gone to the top rope yet and that’s what Erik Michaels has to do if he wants to win.

Jose runs at Michaels and nails him in the face with a Shining Wizard. Jose goes to the top rope and hits a picture perfect Phoenix Splash.

Looks like you spoke too soon, Leroy.

Jose covers Michaels. 1…2…kick out! Jose is shocked at Michaels kicking out and argues with the ref. Jose pushes the ref back and the ref threatens to disqualify him if he breaks the rules one more time. Jose picks Michaels up and put his head under his arm. Jose goes for the DDT, but Michaels doesn’t allow it and reverses with a Northern lights Suplex. Michaels follows through with a bridge and covers Jose. 1…2…kick out. Michaels picks up Jose and runs across the ropes. Michaels goes for a clothesline, but Jose catches his arm and puts him in the Cobra Clutch. Michaels moves his free arm wildly and Jose swings him around. Michaels gets a burst of energy and kicks Jose in the knee. Jose lets go of the hold and Michaels runs at Jose. Jose catches Michaels and nails the Flip Bottom. Jose covers Michaels. 1…2…kick out! Jose is steaming mad now as he yells at Michaels. Jose goes to the top rope and hits a 450 Splash. Jose covers Michaels again. 1…2…kick out! Jose gets furious and starts to stomp angrily on the sternum of Michaels. Jose backs up and goes back to work on Michaels. He lifts Michaels up and runs across the ropes. Jose goes for a running Enzuiguri, but Michaels ducks and avoids the kick to the head and kicks Jose in the midsection. Michaels follows up with an Argentina Piledriver. Colton and The Chaos Kid walk to the ring.

What are these clowns doing out here? They have no business in this match.

How dare you call The Puerto Rican Express clowns?!?! They are all great athletes and they’ve just come out to observe their leader at work.

Michaels gets distracted for a minute by Colton and Chaos, but goes back to focusing on Jose. Michaels covers Jose. 1…2…kick out! Michaels gets off of Jose, but continues to stare down Chaos specifically at ringside. Michaels goes to lock on the Inverted Sharpshooter again, but Jose kicks Michaels off and Michaels bumps into the ref who falls through the top and middle rope to the arena floor.

OH NO! The referee is knocked out cold and Jose has his entire team out at ringside. I have a feeling things are about to go from bad to worse for Erik Michaels.

Chaos gets onto the apron and distracts Michaels as Colton attacks him from behind with a pipe. Michaels falls to the ground and Chaos enters the ring. Colton lifts up Michaels and hits him with the Corkscrew Neckbreaker. Chaos then picks up Michaels and hits him with the Cop Killa. Chaos and Colton both go to separate top ropes and simultaneously hit a Top Rope Leg Drop from Chaos and Shooting Star Press from Colton. Colton and Chaos leave the ring as Jose comes to and sees that Erik Michaels has been laid out and the referee is re-entering the ring slowly. Jose wastes no time going to the top rope. Jose measures Michaels and goes for the Spiral Tap, but Michaels somehow moves out of the way at the last second. Michaels gets to his feet quickly and lifts Jose up. Michaels goes for the Michnoku Driver II, but Jose struggles out and kicks Michaels in the midsection. Jose follows that up with a Puerto Rican Destroyer as the crowd goes absolutely insane. Jose slowly crawls over to Erik Michaels and covers him. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall, Jose!

What a cheap performance from Jose. His partners came out and decimated Erik Michaels while the referee was down.

But Jose didn’t plan this or even know it was happening. He was incapacitated at the time and when he came to, Erik Michaels just happened to be knocked out.

Well, however you may see it, Jose didn’t win fairly. End of story.

PostSubject: Re: Meltdown 2/11/08 Results   Sat Aug 23, 2008 8:42 am

Now we will witness out final main event for the evening. A champion vs. champion match, where the ROG World Heavyweight champion and one half of the ROG World Tag Team champions will take on the ROG X-Rated champion in singles action.

3 of the 4 Meltdown titles will be at ringside in this match, so that alone should tell you how dynamic this match is.

True…wait, sorry to stray off topic, but I have just received word in my headphones that next week, Erik Michaels will be going one-on-one against “The Enforcer” Colton as revenge for what just happened to him.

What a match for next week, but now let’s get to our scheduled main event.

The Way I Am plays as Dash Blade enters the arena with the X-Rated title around his waste. Dash looks to the crowd and smirks as he starts to walk down the ramp. He ignores the fans and stays focused on the match ahead of him. He hands his belt to Ed Richards.

This contest is scheduled for one fall and is your main event for the evening. Introducing first, hailing from Brooklyn, New York and weighing in at 198 pounds, he is the X-Rated champion, Dash Blade!

At Apocalypse, he will defend that precious X-Rated championship of his against the man who just won his match up, Jose.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. I think that Jose and Dash Blade will blow the roof off of the arena when they meet each other in the ring. They are both such young and fresh talents and ROG is lucky to have them both.

Round and Round by Ratt plays as Ricky Reynolds enters the arena with a very smug, yet angry look on his face. He walks down the ramp with the World title around his waste and his tag title on his shoulder. Ricky Reynolds climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. He hands his title to Ed Richards.

And his opponent, hailing from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 215 pounds, he is one half of the ROG World Tag Team Champions and the ROG World Heavyweight Champion, he is Ricky Reynolds!

And here is the alpha male of ROG. He is the supreme, being the only dual-champion in ROG history. If there is anyone who wants to makes a name for themselves, then lets see how long they last against this man!

Ding-ding-ding

Dash Blade and Ricky Reynolds lock up in the center of the ring. Dash moves quickly behind Reynolds and puts him in an armlock. Reynolds escapes and shoves Dash back into the corner. Dash punches Reynolds in the face and then delivers some forearms to the face. Dash has Reynolds against the ropes and chops Reynolds’s chest. Dash Irish Whips Reynolds against the ropes and Reynolds slingshots back at Dash. Dash jumps over the body of Reynolds as Reynolds continues to run across the ropes and slingshots again. Dash drops to the ground and Reynolds jumps over him and continues to run across the ropes. Reynolds ricochets off the ropes and runs straight into an arm drag from Dash Blade. Dash turns in the arm drag into an Arm Bar and Reynolds uses his free arm to rotate his body so his foot could be seated on the bottom rope. Dash lets go of the hold. Reynolds gets to his feet and Dash runs at Reynolds. Reynolds counters with the Coke Sneeze and Dash goes flying across the ring. Reynolds attempts an early Indian Deathlock, but Dash reverses it into a roll up. 1…kick out. Reynolds erupts back to his feet as does Dash and they lock eyes yet again. Reynolds locks up with Dash again and Reynolds locks Dash in a headlock. Reynolds swirls around Dash’s body and locks on an armlock. Reynolds brings the arm of Dash Blade up and grabs the back of Dash’s head. Reynolds brings Dash’s head back and then slams him face first into the ring canvas. Reynolds pins Dash. 1…2…kick out. Reynolds locks on the Artery Jammer. Dash struggles to move his body closer to the bottom rope to no prevail as Reynolds continues to increase the pressure on Dash’s leg. Dash begins to pull his hair and bite his hands to avoid tapping. Dash tries to flip his body over and successfully does so, but Reynolds just flips his body over with Dash’s and maintains the hold. Dash starts to bang on the mat with his head and has a sudden jolt of energy as he takes Reynolds to the floor. Reynolds keeps the hold applied until Dash sits up and starts jabbing away at Reynolds’s face and body. Reynolds lets go of the leg lock and Dash gets to his feet. Dash favors his leg as he awaits Reynolds. Reynolds gets to his feet and Dash runs at him and takes him down with a Spear.

What a devastating maneuver from Dash Blade.

Yea, but I think he might’ve hurt himself with that Spear. He’s holding shoulder like it might be strained. That could be a serious disadvantage for him in this match up.

Dash slowly gets to his feet and goes to the top rope. Reynolds gets to his feet and is met with a missile dropkick. Reynolds falls back and flips over. Reynolds feet rest on the top rope and his head is on the ring mat. Dash runs across the ropes and hits a running dropkick to the body of Reynolds. Reynolds feet come off the top rope and flip over his head and land on the mat. Dash covers Reynolds. 1…2…kick out! Dash lifts up Reynolds and puts him on his shoulders. He walks around seemingly getting ready to hit the Blade Driver. He goes for the Blade Driver, but Reynolds lands on his feet somehow and Superkicks Dash out of nowhere. Dash falls to the mat and Reynolds slowly crawls over to Dash and put his arm over his fallen body. 1…2…kick out! Reynolds gets back up and picks up Dash. Reynolds Irish Whips Dash into the corner post. Reynolds runs at Dash and hits him with a clothesline. Reynolds scurries up the turnbuckle to the top rope and hits Dash with a Tornado DDT off the top rope when Dash turns around. Reynolds covers Dash. 1…2…kick out! A shocked Ricky Reynolds then lifts Dash back up and kicks him in the midsection. Reynolds hits him with the Acid Dropper and follows through with a pin attempt. 1…2…kick out. Reynolds pulls his own hair at the persistent Dash Blade’s multiple kick outs. Reynolds lifts up Dash, but Dash counters and brings Reynolds up on his shoulders and drives him into the ring canvas with the Blade Driver. The crowd goes berserk as Dash slowly crawls over to Reynolds. Dash makes it to Reynolds and slowly lifts his arm up and lays it across the chest of Reynolds. Ed Richards makes the count. 1…..2……KICK OUT! Reynolds gets his shoulder up at the very last second. Dash uses the ropes to get back to his feet and celebrates as if he won, but Ed Richards informs him that Reynolds got his shoulder up. Dash goes over to Reynolds and lifts him up, but Reynolds powers out and kicks Dash in the midsection. Reynolds then takes Dash down to the mat and locks on The Overdose. Dash screams and wiggles in an attempt to escape, but to no prevail. Dash holds his head and screams as Reynolds holds the maneuver perfectly. Sweat glistens down the face of Reynolds as he increases the pressure, forcing Dash Blade to submit.

Here is your winner, by submission, Ricky Reynolds!

Ricky Reynolds refuses to let go of the hold causing Ed Richards to shove Reynolds off of him. Richards gives Reynolds his ROG World Title and his ROG Tag title. Ed Richards holds Ricky Reynolds hand up in victory. Jamarius Jackson comes out and celebrates with Ricky Reynolds. They hold their ROG Tag titles up in sync and talk trash to a fallen Dash Blade.

What a night for Supply and Demand! They both put on stupendous showings and were victorious over their opponents.

…I may not be very happy about it, but Supply and Demand gathered two clean victories here tonight against The Sound and Dash Blade. Not much I can say besides this. Thanks for tuning into this week’s Monday Night Meltdown. Until next week, goodnight everyone!
