Percy Chapman – Red
Trent Heart – Green
Ed Richards – Violet

“Last Resort” by Papa Roach, the new official song of Monday Night Meltdown, blares through the arena as various colored pyros go off at the top of the ramp. The camera swirls around the crowd before cutting to the announce table.

Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of Monday Night Meltdown. I’m Percy Chapman here with my broadcast partner, Trent Heart.

I’m Trent Heart and I’m proud to announce that we are only three weeks away from “Tournament of Glory.” Tonight, we will determine 3 of the 8 men from Meltdown that will be competing in the tournament.

The participants are determined previous to the program, but don’t know who they will be facing. We don’t even know who will be partaking in the qualifying matches.

Also, “Tournament of Glory” will feature all interpromotional matches, so the men that win their qualifying matches tonight won’t know who they will be facing at “Tournament of Glory” either…they’ll only know that it will be a man who qualified from Warzone.

Also, tonight’s Main Event will be an ROG World Heavyweight Championship Rematch from “Glory Games.” Ricky Reynolds and The Sound shall bid war yet again for said title.

And some fallout from “Glory Games” includes the fact the Meltdown proved to be the superior brand by defeating Warzone in the Main Event last night.

What a match that was! Meltdown overcame a 2 – 4 disadvantage to win as Jose and Dash Blade gave it their all to be called the elite!

It was truly a memorable showing…tonight’s Meltdown will also feature a Cinco De Mayo Celebration.

So much excitement and surprises in one event! Let’s get started right away with a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match!

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match!

There is a long pause as the crowd waits in anticipation. Suddenly, “Always” by Saliva starts up and Zachary enters the arena. The crowd heavily cheers for Zachary as he walks down the ramp with a smug smile on his face. Zachary slides into the ring.

Introducing first, hailing from Melbourn, Australia and weighing in at 256 pounds…”The Eliminator” Zachary!

He comes to the ring as a free man, having dropped Tristian Artist last night.

Tristian Artist was dead weight…Zachary had to do it, or else he would’ve never gotten anywhere.

And his opponent…

Another long pause ensues until “Crank Dat” plays and Tristian Artist enters the arena. Zachary laughs in the ring as Tristian Artist slowly walks down the ramp. Tristian Artist climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. Tristian Artist extends his hand, but Zachary swats it away.

Hailing from San Jacinto, California and weighing in at 235 pounds…Tristian “Rampage” Artist!

Ding-ding-ding

Zach and Tristian begins to circle each other in the ring until a video suddenly appears on the Titan Tron. The video shows David Simou.

Hello, minions. I decided to make my presence known right here, right now by making a very important decision revolving around this match. Zach and I have been talking and we’ve come to an agreement, without your approval, Tristian. This contest will be a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match, but it will also be a “Loser Leaves ROG” match! Have fun.

The screen goes dark as Tristian stares at the screen, upset and confused. Zach then blindsides Tristian and knocks him down to the mat. Zach drags Tristian to the corner of the ring and stomps a mudhole in Tristian. Zach screams at Tristian as he drives his foot into Tristian’s sternum. Zach pushes Tristian out of the ring underneath the bottom rope. Tristian falls onto the arena floor, hard. Zach exits the ring and grabs Tristian by the hair. Zach bends over and rams Tristian into the ring post. Tristian lets out a loud groan as Zach tosses Tristian back into the ring. Zach scales thr turnbuckle and awaits Tristian’s revival. Once Tristian gets to his feet, Zach soars off the top rope and nails Tristian with a Diving Shining Wizard. Zach grabs Tristian by his head and lifts him off the mat, but Tristian overpowers Zach for a second and punches Zach. Tristian punches Zach a few more times and then kicks Zach in the chest. Zach bends over and Tristian runs across the ropes. Tristian rebounds off the ropes and Clotheslines Zach. Zach falls to the mat and Tristian grabs Zach by the leg. Tristian drops an elbow onto Zach’s leg and bends it. Zach sits up off the mat and tries to grab Tristian’s face. Tristian releases his hold and gets to his feet. Tristian lifts Zach off of the mat and whips him into the corner. Zach lands hard in the corner and as soon as he turns around, Tristian nails him with a Running Body Splash. Zach wobbles out of the corner and falls straight into Tristian’s arms. Tristian lifts Zach onto his shoulders and calls for the F-U. Tristian throws Zach off, but Zach lands on his feet and cracks Tristian in the jaw with a Superkick. Tristian falls back to the mat and Zach immediately goes for the Sharpshooter. Tristian struggles to prevent the hold by moving around nonstop. Zach flips Tristian onto his stomach, but Tristian shifts his weight to the side so he can get back onto his back. Tristian then kicks Zach off of him. Zach goes flying forward and crashes on the arena floor.

Both men have their ROG careers on the line…anything can happen.

They must both be willing to lay it all on the line if they wish to walk away as the winner and keep their jobs intact.

Tristian immediately goes to the outside and Zach gets to his feet. Tristian and Zach brawl around the ring before Tristian slams Zach’s head into the ring post. Tristian throws Zach back into the ring and slides back into the ring himself. Tristian covers Zach. 1…2…kick out. Tristian gets to his feet and lifts Zach up. Tristian kicks Zach in the midsection and nails him with a Piledriver. Tristian then grabs Zach by the leg and stomps on his calf before stepping over his leg and twisting it. Tristian applies a bit of pressure, but Zach kicks Tristian away. Tristian rolls back and lands on his feet. Zach gets back up, with a slight limp, and Tristian runs at Zach. Zach catches Tristian with a hug and nails him with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Zach covers Tristian. 1…2…kick out! Zach lifts Tristian up and hits him with a few Straight-Edge Chops. Tristian’s chest brightens as Zach continues to throw out more chops. Zach has Tristian cornered now and he backs up to the opposite corner of the ring. Zach runs at Tristian and nails him with a Big Boot in the corner. Tristian stumbles out of the corner and Zach kicks him in the gut. Zach goes for the Elimination, but Tristian prevents it and trips Zach down. Tristian backs up to the corner and Zach gets up. Zach runs at Tristian, but Tristian takes Zach down with a Spinebuster. Tristian drops on top of Zach. 1…2…kick out! Tristian rolls off of Zach, but then locks him in the STFU. Zach yelps out in pain as he tries to reach the bottom rope. Zach isn’t far away from the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope before serious damage can be done. Zach uses the ropes to pull himself forward and lift himself back up. Zach limps faintly and he receives a kick to the gut from Tristian. Tristian lifts Zach onto his shoulders and spins him out, looking for the F-5, but Zach reverses with a Tornado Elimination. Tristian is laid out on the mat and Zach covers him. 1…2…kick out! Zach rolls off of Tristian and he can’t believe that Tristian just kicked out. Zach gets to his feet and lifts Tristian up off the mat. Zach flips Tristian off before kicking him in the ribs and lifting him onto his shoulder. Zach walks around with Tristian hoisted up and lays him out with the Total Elimination. Zach covers Tristian. 1…2…KICK OUT! Zach bangs on the mat before getting to his feet and walking over to the corner. Zach squats down and awaits Tristian’s revival. Tristian recovers and Zach runs at Tristian. Tristian counters the One Shot Kill by lifting Zach onto his shoulders. Tristian walks around with Zach, but Zach grasps the top rope, preventing Tristian to progress with the move.

Very smart maneuver by Zachary there. By grabbing the top rope, Tristian Artist can’t do what he had originally planned.

You got that right, Percy. Zachary being very resourceful here tonight.

Tristian tries to yank Zach off of the rope, but he can’t pull him off. Tristian then F-Us Zach over the top rope, but Zach lands on his feet on the outside. Tristian doesn’t have knowledge of Zach’s instinctive ability. Zach quietly slides back into the ring. Tristian is breathing heavily as he turns around and Zach takes him out with the One Shot Kill. Zach covers Tristian. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall, and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…”The Eliminator” Zachary! As a result of this victory, Tristian Artist is hereby FIRED from ROG!

We will see Zachary at “Tournament of Glory,” but as for Tristian Artist, we will never see him in ROG ever again.

“Always” starts up again as Zachary celebrates in the ring. Zachary runs around the ring, obviously happy with qualifying for the “Tournament of Glory.” Tristian comes to and sits up. Ed Richards informs him of his status and Tristian suddenly has a look of disgust on his face. You can see tears run down his face as he argues with Ed Richards about the results. The crowd then begins to chant, “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, GOODBYE” over and over again. Tristian exits the ring and walks up the ramp, disappearing into the back and to never be heard from again as Zach continues celebrating in the ring. Zach walks up the ramp and exits the arena.

Up next we will witness yet another “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match!

I can’t wait to see who else will have the opportunity to compete!

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a qualifying match for the “Tournament of Glory!”

A short pause happens before “What a Waster” starts up and Tyrant enters the arena. Tyrant hops up and down in place before sprinting down the ramp and sliding into the ring. Tyrant busts his knee upon sliding into the ring. Tyrant rolls on the mat, grasping his knee for a few seconds, but manages to get back up.

Introducing first, hailing from the UK and weighing in at 125 pounds…Tyrant!

The clumsy one gets a shot to qualify.

But the question is…who will he face?

“Old Time Rock N’ Roll” starts up immediately as Flair3 enters the arena. The crowd goes ballistic as Flair3 walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Flair3 enters the ring and Tyrant stares at him.

And his opponent, hailing from Montreal Quebec, Canada and weighing in at 200 pounds…Flair3!

The old time classic gets his chance to qualify!

This has to be his biggest match in ROG yet…he has a chance for greatness.

Ding-ding-ding

Flair and Tyrant lock up and Flair tosses the much lighter Tyrant back. Tyrant gets right back up and runs at Flair. Flair takes Tyrant down with a Drop Toe Hold and locks on an STF. Tyrant escapes easily and gets back to his feet. Tyrant locks up with Flair again. Tyrant goes behind Flair and holds onto his waist. Tyrant lifts Flair up slightly and slams him down to the mat. Tyrant floats over to Flair’s head and locks him in a Headlock. Flair struggles on the mat, but manages to get to his feet and nails Tyrant with a Northern Lights Suplex. Flair goes for a Bridge Pin attempt. 1…2…kick out. Flair gets up to his feet and grabs Tyrant. Flair pulls Tyrant off of the mat and kicks him in he ribs. Flair whips Tyrant across the ropes. Tyrant bounces off of the ropes and Flair goes for the Spinebuster, but Tyrant goes up and over Flair. Tyrant then goes for a School Boy Pin attempt. 1…2…kick out. Tyrant and Flair both get back up and exchange shots. Tyrant goes for a poke to the eye, but pokes Flair in the forehead. Flair lets out a slight chuckle before kicking Tyrant in the midsection and taking him down with a Snap Suplex. Flair gets up and walks over to Tyrant’s lower half. Flair goes to lock on the Figure Four, but Tyrant kicks Flair off of him. Flair goes flying forward and crashes his jaw on the ring mat. Flair gets back up, holding the side of his face. Tyrant escapes the ring. Tyrant walks around the ring as Flair runs across the ropes and does a Suicide Dive, taking both Tyrant and himself out of commission. Both men are knocked out on the arena floor as Ed Richards begins his count. 1…2…3…4…5…6…Flair and Tyrant both get to their feet and exchange shot…7…8…Tyrant kicks Flair in the gut and Flair responds with a kick of his own…9…both men realize that Ed Richards is about to count to 10 and quickly enter the ring with no time to spare. They both get to their feet and look each other in the eyes. Flair points into the rafters and Tyrant turns around to see what he’s pointing at. Flair then Dropkicks Tyrant and Tyrant falls on his face.

This Tyrant character isn’t only clumsy…he’s also gullible! I love it!

It is pretty funny…but that doesn’t mean YOU can laugh!

Flair walks over to Tyrant and lock him in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Tyrant is very close to the ropes, but Flair drags him back. They’re near the center of the ring now as Flair increases the pressure of the hold. Tyrant lies on the mat. 1…2…Tyrant sits back up. Tyrant is banging on the mat and falls right back down. 1…2…Tyrant sits back up just in time. Tyrant is screaming in pain by this point and he’s reaching out, trying to grab Flair’s face. Tyrant gauges Flair’s eyes, but Flair maintains the hold. Flair now shows no mercy by putting on full pressure. Tyrant falls back down the mat. 1…2…Tyrant sits back up and looks as if he is ready to tap. Tyrant begins rolling to his side, attempting to reverse the hold. Tyrant manages to get on his stomach as Flair now screams out in pain. Flair extends his arm to the side and grabs the bottom rope. Tyrant refuses to releases the hold. Ed Richards starts a count. 1…2…3…4…Tyrant releases the hold just in time. Tyrant gets to his feet and he limps over to Flair, who kicks Tyrant in the midsection. Flair uses the ropes to get to his feet and he runs at Tyrant. Flair jumps up and drives Tyrant down to the mat head first with a Tornado DDT. Flair covers Tyrant. 1…2…kick out! Flair rolls off of Tyrant and climbs up to the top rope. Tyrant then gets off of the mat and runs towards the ropes. Tyrant does an excellent vertical leap and lands on the top rope. He slips and nearly falls off, but manages to stay on. Tyrant punches Flair a few times and then hooks his arms. Tyrant drives Flair to the mat with a Super Tigerbomb. Tyrant covers Flair. 1…2…kick out! Tyrant gets to his feet and pulls Flair off of the mat. Tyrant kicks Flair in the chest and goes for the T-Bone Suplex, but Flair elbows Tyrant in the side of the head. Tyrant releases Flair and Flair lays Tyrant out with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Flair walks over to the corner and climbs to the top rope. Flair positions himself on the top and then leaps off, nailing Tyrant with the Frog Splash. Flair covers Tyrant. 1…2…KICK OUT!

Can you believe that Tyrant kicked out of that perfectly executed Frog Splash?

I can believe it. That spot in the “Tournament of Glory” really means a lot to him.

Flair goes onto one knee and stares down at Tyrant, breathing heavily. Flair gets to both feet and runs across the ropes. Flair rebounds off of the ropes and nails Tyrant with a Running Elbow Drop. Flair gets back to his feet and drops another elbow onto Tyrant’s chest. Flair gets back up and drops another elbow, but Tyrant rolls out of the way. Flair collides with the ring canvas and Tyrant gets to his feet. Tyrant lifts Flair off of the mat and runs across the ropes. Tyrant nails Flair in the back of the head with a Lariat. Flair falls forward and Tyrant stomps on the Flair’s spine. Tyrant lifts Flair up yet again and walks to the back of Flair. Tyrant hooks Flair’s arms and nails him with a Dragon Suplex. Flair’s neck folds on the mat like an accordion. Tyrant covers Flair. 1…2…KICK OUT! Flair twitches on the mat as Tyrant gets to his feet and brutally stomps all over Flair’s body. Tyrant lifts Flair’s lifeless body off of the mat. Tyrant kicks Flair in the gut and DDTs him to the mat. Tyrant picks Flair up and runs across the ropes. Tyrant then takes Flair down with another DDT. Tyrant picks Flair up once more and climbs up to the top rope. Tyrant soars off of the top rope and goes for the final DDT, but Flair catches Tyrant and nails him with the Spinebuster. The crowd goes berserk as Flair struggles to reach the ropes. Flair grasps the bottom rope and lifts himself up enough to grab the top rope and pull himself up all the way. Flair glances to his side and sees Tyrant holding his midsection. Flair limps over to Tyrant and lifts him off of the mat. Flair grabs Tyrant and places him on his shoulder. Flair then lays Tyrant out with Dead End Driver. Flair covers Tyrant. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…Flair3!

“Old Time Rock N’ Roll” starts up again as Flair3 celebrates his victory in the ring. Flair3 slides underneath the bottom rope and limps up the ramp as the crowd cheers for him.

Flair3 pulled out a magnificent victory here tonight and he will indeed be going to the “Tournament of Glory” on behalf of Meltdown!

2 of the 8 men representing Meltdown have been decided already…who else will get this coveted opportunity? Stay tuned to find out.

PostSubject: Re: Meltdown 5/5/08 Results   Sat Aug 23, 2008 10:57 pm

David Simou – Brown
Jose – Yellow
Dash Blade – Cyan

“99 Problems” begins to play as David Simou enters the arena. He’s wearing a very nice suit and tie as he walks down the ramp. David Simou climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. David Simou calls for a mic.

I wonder why our GM has come out here tonight.

Well, maybe if you shut up then you’ll know!

Hello all. For those who don’t know, I am David Simou…the GM of Meltdown and the President of ROG. This past Sunday at “Glory Games” there was a monumental Main Event that consisted of 5 men from Meltdown and 5 men from Warzone. Early on, we lost 2 men. This was hard, but we came back shortly by eliminating one of theirs. We would then lose our muscle in Black Dagger when Randy Rampage pinned him. This left us at a 2-4 disadvantage. Jose and Dash Blade were the remaining members of Team Meltdown. They managed to overcome their differences and ban together to take out Randy Rampage and Jokerman. This put us at even odds with Warzone. The Legend Killer and WWEFan vs. Jose and Dash Blade. The Legend Killer opted to be the brave one, but he fell like the rest to the duo of Jose and Dash Blade. We now had the advantage. WWEFan tried to have The Legend Killer cause distractions and separate the great tandem, but it didn’t work for too long and we overcame by defeating WWEFan and Team Warzone effectively.

The crowd cheers loudly.

I have come out here to celebrate this momentous occasion. First of all, I would like to announce that anyone from Team Meltdown that scored an elimination against Team Warzone will be granted 1 favor from me! Whatever it is, you got it. Now I will go to my next act of business. Today is Cinco De Mayo as many of you know and I would like to celebrate today. So without further ado, here’s my tribute to Cinco De Mayo!

Mariachi music plays as a bunch of Mexicans in sombreros enter the arena. Each one of them is playing some sort of instrument and they form a marching line down the ramp and into the ring. They continue to play their music as David Simou dances along. Suddenly, “Metalingus” starts up an Jose enters the arena with Colton and The Chaos Kid by his side. None of them carry their belt to the ring. The Mariachi band has stopped playing their instruments and The Puerto Rican Express walks down the ramp. Jose has a mic in hand. They all slide into the ring.

What the hell is this, Simou? Are you trying to disrespect our culture with this disgraceful act?

No, of course not. Why would I try to disrespect three of my champions or their culture?

I’m not really sure, but I don’t appreciate this. As a matter of fact…

Jose snaps his finger and Colton begins to destroy the entire Mariachi band. Colton tosses bodies left and right around the ring. One of the Mariachi players hits Colton in the back of the head with his guitar, but Colton is unaffected. The chubby Mariachi player attempts to run away, but The Chaos Kid stop him and kick him in the gut. Colton walks over and dives him to the mat with the Corkscrew Neckbreaker. The rest of the Mariachi band scurry out of the ring and run up the ramp. Jose and The Chaos Kid climb up to the top rope. Jose and The Chaos Kid soar off of the top rope at the same time and simultaneously nail the Spiral Tap and a Top Rope Leg Drop on the Mariachi player. He twitches on the mat as Jose gets back to his feet and grabs the mic.

See what happens when you disrespect us?

What the hell!? I paid good money for these guys to perform! I wasn’t trying to disrespect your damn culture! I just wanted to give the people at home and in attendance a show!

Well, we didn’t like it. I regret to inform you, but nobody is going to want to play for you anymore. Now as for that favor that you promised me…I would like to cash it in.

Fine…what would you like?

Well…it’s very simple. I have noticed that The Chaos Kid, Colton, nor myself have a qualifying match for the “Tournament of Glory.” We would all like on.

I can’t do that.

Why not?

Because we already have 3 qualifying matches tonight and the Main Event. We simply don’t have room for you this week.

Fine…then I demand that all three of us have qualifying matches next week! Deal?

Alright. But, they won’t be easy…you can count on that. How dare you ruin my band!

You’ll get over it. As for us, we’re gone.

“Metalingus” plays as Jose exits the ring and The Chaos Kid and Colton follow closely behind him. David Simou is seen murmuring under his breath in the ring. The Puerto Rican Express disappear backstage as David Simou exits the ring and follows.

The audacity of The Puerto Rican Express! How dare they interrupt our GM?

He was offended at that despicable display. At least he got what he wanted.

That’s right. Next week, The Puerto Rican Express will all have qualifying matches for the “Tournament of Glory.”

The camera cuts to the backstage area where David Simou is walking back to his office. He is intercepted by Dash Blade.

Hey boss! So, about that promise that you made. I do recall that I scored at least 1 elimination at “Glory Games,” so I’d like to have a qualifying match for the “Tournament of Glory” next week.

Next week is full. The Puerto Rican Express got it before you. You can have it two weeks from now if you’d like.

I guess that’s cool.

Good…I’ll get something set up for you in two weeks.

Alright, boss.

Dash Blade walks off and David Simou enters his office and slams the door. You can hear things being thrown around and screaming from the inside.

Another qualifying match for the “Tournament of Glory” is about to be underway.

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a qualifying match for the “Tournament of Glory!” Introducing first…

A long pause occurs until “Mr. Jones” starts up on the speakers. Lojax emerges from the back as the crowd explodes into cheers. Lojax sprints down the ramp as the crowd begins to sing the Canadian National Anthem. Lojax smirks upon sliding into the ring and looks around the arena in amazement.

Hailing from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada and weighing in at 122 pounds…Lojax!

Here is the man who defeated his mortal enemy upon arriving in ROG, Matt Lee, at “Glory Games.”

And what a stellar match that was. The two competitors went at it for quite some time, but Lojax proved to have a little more in the tank.

And his opponent…

The lights dim and red mist begins to shroud the arena. “The Fight Song” then blares through the arena as Dante Diablo enters the arena. Dante Diablo slowly walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Dante Diablo looks directly into Lojax’s eyes, which show no fear. Dante Diablo enters the ring and the mist subdues.

Hailing from the City of Satan and weighing in at 245 pounds…Dante Diablo!

Lojax isn’t a lucky man. He’s facing the cult antagonist that is over twice his size.

Lojax is going to have to pull out all the stops is he wants to win this one…and there’s always the discrete possibility of Matt Lee lurking.

Ding-ding-ding

Lojax runs at Diablo, but Diablo grabs Lojax by the throat and throws him half way across the ring. Lojax gets right back up and runs at Diablo again. Diablo flips Lojax inside out with a vicious Clothesline. Lojax lands on the mat hard and Diablo grabs him by the hair. Diablo lift Lojax up off the mat and whips him into the corner. Lojax hits the corner so hard, that he catches whiplash and hits the mat face first. Diablo walks back over to Lojax and lifts him up. Diablo bites Lojax on the forehead as the crowd boos. Diablo pries his teeth into Lojax’s head as Lojax screams and squirms. Diablo releases his vice like teeth from Lojax’s head. Diablo then nails Lojax with a Discuss Clothesline. Diablo covers Lojax. 1…2…kick out. Diablo gets to his feet and lifts Lojax up. Diablo whips Lojax across the ropes. Lojax rebounds off the ropes and avoids a Clothesline from Diablo. Lojax continues running, rebounds off the ropes again, and nails Diablo with a Spear. Diablo falls back and Lojax covers him. 1…2…Diablo tosses Lojax off of him. Lojax gets back up and runs at Diablo. Lojax hits Diablo with a Clothesline and Diablo takes a step back. Lojax runs across the ropes again and hits Diablo with another Clothesline. Diablo nearly falls, but manages to keep his balance. Lojax then runs across the ropes for a third time and hits Diablo with a Running Dropkick, taking Diablo off of one foot and onto one knee. Lojax runs across the ropes for a fourth time and nails Diablo with a Shining Wizard, finally taking Diablo off of his feet. Lojax climbs to the top rope. Lojax leaps off and nails Diablo with a Top Rope Leg Drop. Lojax covers Diablo. 1…2…kick out. Lojax grabs Diablo by the head and manages to lift the much heavier Diablo off the mat. Lojax kicks Diablo in the gut and lifts him onto his shoulders, looking for the 604 Slam. Lojax’s knees begin to buckle, however, as he can’t lift up Diablo’s immense weight. Lojax collapses and Diablo lands on top of him. 1…2…kick out.

Much of Lojax’s offense is cut off due to the size differences between the two.

Lojax is going to have to think of something new and quick!

Diablo gets up and grabs Lojax by the leg. Diablo drags Lojax to the ropes and places his leg on the bottom rope. Diablo steps on the bottom rope, jumps up, and comes down hard on Lojax’s leg. Lojax rolls around on the mat, clutching his leg. Diablo laughs as he walks over to the injured Lojax and lifts him up. Diablo grabs Lojax and puts his arm over his head. Diablo lifts Lojax up in Suplex formation and takes him down to the mat with the Brainbuster. Lojax quivers on the mat as Diablo covers him. 1…2…kick out! Diablo gets up to his feet and stomps on Lojax’s chest a few times before lifting him up. Lojax has had the wind knocked out of him, as he can barely stand straight and is gasping for air. Diablo holds Lojax’s head up and pokes him in the eye. Diablo then Dropkicks Lojax. Lojax backs into the corner. Diablo walks over to the opposite corner of the ring and runs at Lojax. Lojax lifts his body up and kicks Diablo in the face. Diablo backs up and then runs back at Lojax. Lojax lifts up his boot and kicks Diablo in the face. Lojax lifts himself onto the top rope and soars off. Lojax takes Diablo down with a Flying Crossbody Splash. Lojax covers Diablo. 1…2…kick out. Lojax grabs Diablo’s legs and spreads them apart. Lojax then inserts his leg in between Diablo’s and locks on the Sharpshooter. Diablo seems unfazed for the first few seconds, but fatigue begins to set in and he reaches for the ropes. Diablo is nowhere the ropes, however, and Lojax has the hold locked on tight. Diablo lets out a loud groan of pain as he attempts to crawl forward towards the ropes. Diablo manages to do so, with the huge strength difference between Lojax and himself. Diablo grabs the bottom rope, but Lojax refuses to let go. Ed Richards starts his count. 1…2…3…4…Ed Richards forces Lojax to release the hold. Lojax drags Diablo from the ropes and goes to lock on the Sharpshooter again, but Diablo kicks Lojax back. Diablo gets to his feet and walks over to Lojax. Lojax gets to his feet and turns around. He is met with a kick to the abdomen. Diablo then plants Lojax with a Spike DDT.

That DDT looked absolutely sickening.

The way Dante Diablo hit it…the top of Lojax’s head connected with the mat. This isn’t looking good for Lojax.

Diablo covers Lojax. 1…2…kick out! Diablo gets to his feet and lifts Lojax up by his hair. Diablo tosses Lojax across the ring by the hair. Lojax crashes hard on the mat and Diablo walks over to Lojax. Diablo hovers above Lojax and stares at him intensely. Lojax begins to get up and gets on all fours. Diablo then stomps on Lojax and Lojax falls flat on the mat. Diablo lifts Lojax up and grasps him by the throat. Diablo calls for the Darkness Falls, but Lojax escapes by hitting a few forearms to the side of Diablo’s head. Diablo releases Lojax and Lojax kicks Diablo in the midsection. Lojax then connects with the Canadian Destroyer. Lojax covers Diablo. 1…2…kick out! Lojax lifts Diablo off the mat and hoists him up onto his shoulders again. Lojax looks for the 604 Slam, but Diablo struggles out and lands behind Lojax. Diablo then nails Lojax with the Swinging Neckbreaker. Diablo gets to his feet and grabs Lojax by the throat again. Diablo lifts Lojax off the mat by the throat and places him on the top rope. Lojax kicks Diablo in the face a few times and Diablo backs away. Lojax then stands on the top rope and waits for Diablo to turns back around. Once Diablo does Lojax jumps off of the top rope and looks for a Huracanrana, but Diablo catches him and nails him with the Soul Reaper. Diablo’s legs are wobbly as the lights flicker and a video plays of Nightmare in the back area. Nightmare has Spawn in his hand and gestures to the right, where Hybrid is knocked out cold with a chair lying next to him and blood rushing out of his head. The camera turns back to Nightmare as Nightmare does a thumbs down gesture. Nightmare’s other hand comes onto the camera and it shows him wielding a bag. Nightmare empties the bag on top of Hybrid, revealing glass shards and thousands of tacks. Nightmare does the cut throat motion as the video ends. Diablo seems furious as he turns around and Lojax lifts him onto his shoulders. Lojax lays Diablo out with the 604 Slam and covers him. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…Lojax!

“Mr. Jones” begins playing as Lojax struggles to get to his feet. Lojax supports himself using the ropes and celebrates in the ring for a bit. Ed Richards raises his hand in victory and Lojax accepts it. Lojax exits the ring and walks up the ramp. All of a sudden, Matt Lee emerges from the crowd and runs up the ramp. Lojax senses this and turns around. They exchange shots on the ramp, but Matt Lee takes advantage on the much fatigued Lojax. The brawl culminates with Matt Lee nailing Lojax with the Dragon Suplex on the ramp. Lojax lays on the ramp, lifeless as Matt Lee escapes through the crowd.

Well, we now know three of the eight men that will represent Meltdown at the “Tournament of Glory.”

Yes, but it doesn’t look like Matt Lee is going to let Lojax move on. Lojax had better be prepared for anything in these upcoming weeks.

And Matt Lee needs to be prepared for a counter attack!

After a very exciting night of qualifying matches, we must now break away from those for our Main Event.

Ahh, yes…a rematch for the ROG World Heavyweight Championship between The Sound and Ricky Reynolds.

Can Ricky Reynolds pull out two victories in a row against The Sound? Let’s find out.

“Battery” by Metallica blares through the arena as The Sound emerges into the arena with Chris Classic by his side. The Sound walks down the ramp as Classic walks down, bruised and battered from his match at “Glory Games.” The Sound slides into the ring as Chris Classic walks around the perimeter of the ring.

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the ROG World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, hailing from England and weighing in at 245 pounds…being accompanied by Chris Classic…The Sound!

While The Sound seems to be in good health tonight, Chris Classic certainly isn’t.

Why would The Sound bring Chris Classic to ringside in that condition?

“Round and Round” by Ratt starts up as Ricky Reynolds enters the arena with the ROG World Heavyweight Championship draped on his shoulder. Jamarius Jackson follows closely behind and they walk down the ramp together. Ricky Reynolds slides into the ring and hands the belt to Ed Richards. Jamarius Jackson finds a spot at ringside.

And his opponent, hailing from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 215 pounds, he is your ROG World Heavyweight Champion…being accompanied by Jamarius Jackson…Ricky Reynolds!

Ricky Reynolds doesn’t seem to be in a very happy mood here tonight.

What do you expect? He successfully defended his title against The Sound last night and he has to do again here tonight, without warning! He’s probably still healing from their match. This is true dedication!

Ding-ding-ding

Reynolds and Sound lock up in the center of the ring. Reynolds overpowers Sound into the corner, but Sound comebacks and uses his size advantage over Reynolds. Sound forces Reynolds into the opposite corner. Reynolds pokes his head in between the top and middle ropes and Ed Richards forces Sound to release Reynolds. Sound backs up and Reynolds comes back into the ring. Reynolds walks to the center of the ring and meets up with Sound. They lock up for the second time and Sound goes behind Reynolds. Sound holds onto Reynolds by the hips. Reynolds tries to turn around, but can’t. He swings an elbow at Sound’s face, but Sound ducks. Reynolds turns around and applies a Headlock to Sound. Sound struggles to escape, but instead, rams Reynolds into the corner. Sound backs up and then runs at Reynolds, who moves out of the way. Sound collides with the corner and Reynolds goes for the Yuppie Marching Powder. Sound lands on his feet and Dropkicks Reynolds. Reynolds falls forward and hits his head on the second turnbuckle. Sound walks up behind Reynolds and nails him with a Back Body Drop. Sound covers Reynolds. 1…2…kick out. Sound gets to his feet and locks Reynolds in a High Angle Boston Crab. Reynolds uses his leg strength to flip Sound off of him. Reynolds gets to his feet at the same time Sound does. Reynolds turns around and punches Sound. Sound responds with a shot of his own. Without delay, they let the fists fly. Both men are throwing wild frenzies of lefts and rights, with less than half of the shots actually connecting. Sound kicks Reynolds in the gut, thus ending the brawl. Sound grabs the bent over Reynolds and throws him, shoulder first, into the ring post. Sound then rolls up Reynolds. 1…2…kick out. Sound gets back to his feet and stomps on Reynolds. Sound rolls Reynolds onto his back and drags him to the center to the ring. Sound walks over to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top. Sound positions himself on the top before soaring off and nailing Reynolds in the chest with an Elbow Drop. Sound covers Reynolds. 1…2…kick out.

The Sound has already started breaking out his arsenal of attacks.

And it won’t be long before Ricky Reynolds does the same.

Sound gets to his feet and tries to lock Reynolds in the Sharpshooter, but Reynolds rapidly crawls over to the ropes and clutches them. Sound releases Reynolds and Reynolds exits the ring. Jamarius Jackson walks over to Reynolds to console him. Classic then walks around the ring and throws Jackson to the side. Reynolds pokes Classic in the eye and kicks him in the gut. Reynolds lifts Classic up for a Powerbomb. Suddenly, Reynolds looks to his side and Sound flies over the top rope and takes Reynolds and Classic out with a Flipping Senton Plancha. All three men are laid out on the arena floor. Jackson lifts up Reynolds and throws him in the ring. Jackson grabs Classic and lifts him off of the arena floor. Jackson brings Classic over to the announce table and slams his head into it. Classic’s head bounces off of the table and Jackson grabs Classic’s head again. Jackson drives Classic’s head straight into the table again. Jackson grasps Classic’s head for a third time and slams it down, but Classic catches himself and elbows Jackson in the gut. Classic then grabs Jackson by the head and slams his head into the table. Jackson falls back as Ed Richards has reached a seven count for Sound. Sound is still out cold on the arena floor as is Reynolds in the ring. Classic walks over to Sound and lifts him off the arena floor as Ed Richards counts to eight. Classic throws Sound back into the ring. Sound and Reynolds lie in the ring as Ed Richards starts another count. 1…2…3…4…Reynolds has seemed to regain motion in his body…5…Sound begins to move as well…6…7…Reynolds and Sound both get onto their hands and knees…8…Reynolds uses the ropes to get back to his feet…9…Sound gets back to his feet as well, putting an end to the count. Sound runs at Reynolds, but Reynolds catches Sound with a hug and nails him with the Coke Sneeze. Reynolds walks over to Sound and locks him in the Artery Jammer. Sound refrains from screaming, but you can see the pain on his face. He slowly crawls towards the ropes. Sound is on his back as he reaches for the bottom rope and manages to grab a hold of it.

Whenever these two get in the ring together, they never disappoint. They’re definitely showing that here tonight.

And with the ROG World Heavyweight Championship at stake, they’re showing absolutely no mercy on their opponent.

Reynolds gets back up as Sound goes onto his knees and reaches up. He grabs Reynolds’s pants and tries to pull himself up. Reynolds slaps Sound back down to the mat. Reynolds walks over to Sound, but Sound reaches up and throws Reynolds into the ropes. Reynolds drops to his knees and his chin rests on the second rope. Sound gets to his feet and runs across the ropes. Sound rebounds off the ropes and jumps up. Sound comes down hard on the back of Reynolds’s head and neck. Reynolds falls back as he grasps his throat and can barely breathe correctly. Sound lifts Reynolds up and whips him into the corner. Sound runs at Reynolds and nails him with a Clothesline. Reynolds stumbles out of the corner and Sound kicks him in the gut. Sound then nails Reynolds with a Piledriver. Sound covers Reynolds. 1…2…Reynolds puts his foot on the bottom rope. Sound rolls off of Reynolds and gets to his feet. Sound gets to his feet and pushes Reynolds forward. Reynolds’s sternum is now leaning against the ring post. Sound backs up to the opposite corner and runs at Reynolds. Sound goes for a Baseball Slide, but Reynolds moves out of the way and exits the ring. Sound goes through with the move and hits his crotch on the ring post. Reynolds walks over to where Sound’s legs are dangling. Reynolds grabs both of Sound’s legs and places his feet against the bottom of the ring post. Reynolds then pulls on Sound’s legs, forcing Sound’s crotch into the ring post with added pressure. Ed Richards does his count. 1…2…3…4…Reynolds releases Sound, but immediately grabs Sound again and presumes the pulling. Ed Richards counts again. 1…2…3…4…Reynolds lets go of Sound’s legs. Reynolds then grabs Sound’s legs again and pulls as Ed Richards starts up another count. 1…2…3…4…Reynolds releases. Reynolds goes to grab Sound’s legs again, but Sound crawls out of the corner. Reynolds sides back into the ring and goes for the Overdose, but Sound grabs the ropes on his side. Reynolds gets back up and walks to the opposite side of the ring. Sound uses the ropes to pick himself up.

What can Ricky Reynolds possibly have planned?

I’m not sure, but I don’t think this is going to end well for The Sound.

Reynolds continues to measure Sound. Sound turns around and Reynolds charges at Sound at full speed. Reynolds goes for a Lariat, but Sound catches Reynolds by the arm and takes him down to the mat. Sound then locks Reynolds in the Crippler Crossface. Reynolds reaches forward, but the ropes are completely out of reach. Sound increase the pressure on the hold continuously as Reynolds kicks his legs up and down. The motion that Reynolds makes looks like a temper tantrum. Reynolds tries to crawl forward towards the ropes, but Sound holds him back. Classic and Jackson begin to bang on the apron as the crowd chants, “TAP! TAP! TAP!” Suddenly, Damien Jones is seen walking down the ramp. He has a very arrogant smile on his face as he walks to ringside. Jones glares at Sound and then walks around the ring. Classic isn’t aware that Jones is at ringside and Jones blindsides Classic with a Clothesline. Jones nails Classic with a few knees to the face. Classic is completely defenseless at this point. Sounds becomes distracted for a moment as he seems to release his vice like grip on the Reynolds. Sound still has the Cripple Crossface locked on, but Reynolds manages to crawl towards the ropes. Sound realizes Reynolds moving and applies full pressure again. Jones lifts Sound up and hits multiple various strike to Classic, glancing at Sound in between each shot. By this point, Sound has releases the hold and he gets to his feet. Sound walks over to the ropes and looks down over the top rope. Sound yells at Damien as Damien doesn’t respond. Instead, he lays Classic out with the Jones Breakerbomb. Damien then begins walking away from ringside and up the ramp as he smirks at Sound. Sound exits the ring for a second to check on Classic, who can’t even stand. Sound re-enters the ring, looking intently at Jones. Jones disappears into the back. Sound turns around and Reynolds nails him with the Acid Dropped. Reynolds then applies the Overdose. Sound can’t take the pain as he taps out almost as soon as the hold is applied.

Here is your winner, by submission and STILL ROG World Heavyweight Champion…Ricky Reynolds!

“Round and Round” starts up again as Jamarius Jackson enters the ring and celebrates with Reynolds. Ed Richards hands Reynolds his title belt and Reynolds holds it up high as Jackson stands behind him. Reynolds hands Jackson the title belt and Jackson straps the title around Reynolds’s waist. Jackson raises Reynolds’s hand in victory before exiting the ring and walking up the ramp. Reynolds and Jackson stop at the top of the ramp and hold their hands up again before vanishing into the back. Sound rolls out of the ring and holds onto the ring apron for support as he calls for help.

Well, Ricky Reynolds once again walks away with the ROG World Heavyweight Championship. I’m so disappointed.

I’m ecstatic! Reynolds and Sound had another epic encounter and Reynolds proved, yet again, why he’s the best and why he has that title.

That’s very true…what I was talking about was how Damien Jones made his presence known here tonight. Chris Classic was minding his own business and Damien Jones took him out.

That’s Damien’s message to him. He just told Classic, “This isn’t over. You’re not wanted here.” What better way to do that than an assault?

You are really opinionated, so I’m not even gonna try to explain anything to you.

Whatever.

Next week on Meltdown, three more “Tournament of Glory” qualifying matches will take place, featuring the three members of The Puerto Rican Express. By this time next week, Meltdown will have six of its eight representatives for “Tournament of Glory.” As for now, I’m Percy Chapman.

And I’m Trent Heart.

Goodnight everyone!

The camera shows a close-up of Sound helping Classic onto a stretcher. Sound stays with Classic as they roll him up the ramp. The screen then slowly fades to black…
