Percy Chapman – Red
Trent Heart – Green
Ed Richards – Violet

“Last Resort” blasts on the speakers as various colored pyros explode at the top of the stage. The camera swirls around the jam packed arena and halts at the announce table.

Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of Monday Night Meltdown! I’m Percy Chapman here with my broadcast partner, Trent Heart.

I’m Trent Heart and boy am I psyched about tonight! We shall crown three more “Tournament of Glory” qualifiers!

Confirmed as of last week is that Jose, Colton, and The Chaos Kid will all be taking place in the qualifying matches for tonight.

Also, Jamarius Jackson and Dash Blade have both been granted a qualifying match for next week. They will face off tonight and the winner gets to choose his opponent for next week’s qualifying match and may I remind you that they can choose anyone from the Meltdown Roster!

And The Sound will be receiving another interview to reflect on the recent issues with Damien Jones and Chris Classic.

But for right now, let’s get started with our first of three “Tournament of Glory” qualifying matches!

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match!

“Burn in My Light” immediately blares through the arena as The Chaos Kid sprints out from the back area with the ROG Tag Team Title draped on his shoulder. The Chaos Kid hops up and down before running down the ramp and sliding into the ring. The Chaos Kid hands his title to Ed Richards as he jogs around the ring.

Introducing first, hailing from Toronto Ontario, Canada and weighing in at 204 pounds…he is one half of the ROG Tag Team Champions…The Chaos Kid!

Looks like The Chaos Kid of the Puerto Rican Express is set to compete in tonight’s first outing!

But who will his opponent be, Percy?

And his opponent…

After a very lengthy pause, “Breathe Into Me” by Red starts up as the crowd goes ballistic. Colton walks out slowly from the back with a look of uneasiness on his face. He has the ROG Tag Team Title strapped around his waist as he walks down the ramp and slides into the ring. Colton hands Ed Richards his title and stares into The Chaos Kid’s eyes. Both men show no signs of backing down.

Hailing from Bridgeport, Connecticut and weighing in at 260 pounds…Colton!

I can’t believe what we have just witnessed! Colton is going to be taking on his tag team partner, The Chaos Kid, in a qualifying match for “Tournament of Glory!”

Well, David Simou promised them qualifying matches and said they wouldn’t be easy. This must had been what he meant. This should be very interesting.

Ding-ding-ding

Colton and Chaos walk up to each other and exchange words for a few short seconds. Both men back away from each other and walk to separate corners. Colton mouths the words, “May the best man win.” They then get into their fighting stances and walk towards each other. They lock up and Colton tosses Chaos back, in a display of brute force. Colton shrugs and says, “Oops.” Chaos smirks as he gets to his feet and walks towards Colton. They lock up again and Chaos drops down to the mat. Chaos manages to sweep Colton off of his feet and he floats around his body. Chaos applies a Headlock for a few seconds, but Colton begins to get to his feet and shoves Chaos off of him. Chaos chuckles as he says “Beat that!” Colton gets to his feet with a smile and runs at Chaos. Chaos takes Colton down with a Drop Toe Hold and goes for an Ankle Lock, but Colton grabs the bottom rope. Chaos quickly gets back to his feet as Colton exits underneath the bottom rope and stares at Chaos, who stands in the ring. Colton contemplates ways to slow down Chaos, but re-enters the ring before he can come to any conclusions. Chaos runs at Colton and hits him with a Running Dropkicks. Colton nearly falls through the ropes and to the arena floor, but holds onto the second rope. Colton pulls himself onto the apron. Chaos runs at Colton again, but Colton lifts Chaos over the top rope. Chaos lands on the arena floor. Chaos recovers quickly and Colton lays him out with an Asia Moonsault. Colton uses the ring barricade to lift himself up. Colton slides back into the ring as Ed Richards is at a count of 3. Ed Richards continues to count. 4…5…Chaos gets to his feet and re-enters the ring. This prompts Colton to walk over to Chaos and drop an elbow on him. Colton gets back to his feet and lifts up Chaos. Colton kicks Chaos in the chest and sets him up for the Twist of Fate. Chaos pushes Colton off of him, however. Colton rebounds off of the ropes and nails Chaos in the chin with a Shining Wizard. Colton covers Chaos. 1…2…kick out.

Neither man are willing to back down, despite them being tag team partners.

Of course they aren’t! A possible shot at the World Title is on line!

Colton rolls off of Chaos and lifts him up. Colton whips Chaos into the corner. Colton runs at Chaos and hits him with a Clothesline. Chaos stumbles out of the corner and Colton runs up the turnbuckle. Colton goes for the Whisper in the Wind, but Chaos senses it and rolls out of the way. Colton crashes on the mat below. Chaos quickly scales thr turnbuckle and nails Colton with a Moonsault. Chaos covers Colton. 1…2…kick out. Chaos gets back up and grabs Colton by the head. Chaos lifts Colton off the mat. Chaos kicks Colton in the gut and nails him with the Twist of Fate. Colton’s body bounces off of the mat as Chaos covers him again. 1…2…kick out. Chaos gets back up and runs across the ropes. Chaos goes for a Running Flipping Senton, but Colton moves out of the way just in time. Chaos quickly gets back up as does Colton. Chaos runs at Colton and goes for a Clothesline, but Colton ducks out of the way. Colton is now behind Chaos and he takes Chaos down with a Sleeper Slam. Colton then locks Chaos in the High Angle Boston Crab. Chaos screams in pain as he moves closer and closer to the ropes, but Colton’s weight advantage makes his attempt much more difficult. Chaos rolls onto his back and kicks Colton away, but Colton holds onto Chaos through the entire thing and manages to keep the hold locked. However, Chaos is now right next to the ropes and grabs them. Colton releases the hold. Colton gets to his feet and grabs Chaos by the throat. Colton lifts Chaos up off the mat and tosses him into the corner. Colton backs up a bit and then runs at Chaos. Colton impales Chaos with a Spear in the corner. Colton grabs Chaos and hits him with a Snap Suplex. Colton then climbs up to the top rope and positions himself on the top rope. Colton leaps off and nails Chaos with the 720 Moonsault. Colton covers Chaos. 1…2…kick out! Colton sits up as he breathes in and our heavily. Colton gets to his feet and lifts up Chaos. Colton then hits Chaos with a Rock Bottom and locks on the Anaconda Vice. Chaos looks to be ready to tap, but he doesn’t allow himself to do so. He screams loudly as Colton has a very vicious look on his face.

You need to wonder what the repercussions of this match will be, Trent. Two teammates fighting to determine who will advance their career.

It will certainly be awkward, but at least we know that these men won’t let personal bonds get in the way of their success.

Colton keeps the Anaconda Vice locked on tight as Chaos seems to begin to fade. Ed Richards checks on Chaos and determines that he is out cold. Ed Richards grabs Chaos’s arm and lifts it up. Ed Richards releases, but Chaos doesn’t allow his hand to hit the mat once, proving that he still has some left in the tank. Chaos moves his lower body towards the ropes and manages to rest his foot on the bottom rope, forcing Colton to release the hold. Colton gets to his feet quickly as Chaos uses the ropes to get back up. Colton runs at Chaos, but Chaos launches Colton over the top rope and onto the arena floor. Chaos looks down at Colton and runs across the ropes. Chaos rebounds and leaps over the top rope. Chaos nails Colton with a Flipping Senton Plancha. Both men are out on the arena floor as Ed Richards starts his count. 1…2…3…4…5…Chaos gets to his feet and slides back into the ring…6…Colton shows movement and uses the announce table to get back up…7…Colton re-enters the ring. Chaos rushes to Colton and stomps on his back. Chaos lifts Colton up and kicks him in the ribs. Chaos hooks the arms of Colton and goes for the Cop Killa, but Colton uses his weight advantage to keep his feet planted on the mat. Colton shoves Chaos off of him. Chaos runs at Colton, but Colton ducks and avoids a Clothesline attempt. Colton the takes Chaos down with the Backcracker. Chaos twitches insanely on the mat as Colton climbs up to the top rope yet again. Colton seems to have complete focus as he soars off the top rope and nails Chaos with the Corkscrew 630 Senton. Colton covers Chaos. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall, and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…Colton!

“Breathe Into Me” starts up again as Colton uses the ropes to lift himself up. Colton celebrates as Ed Richards hands him his title belt. Colton begins to leave, but walks back into the ring to help up The Chaos Kid. Colton and Chaos exit the ring and walk up the ramp together. They disappear into the back.

Colton pulled off a beautiful win here tonight against his partner.

Well, 1 Puerto Rican Express is in the tournament…can Jose make it two later?

Stay tuned, because we still have 2 “Tournament of Glory” qualifying matches on the card!

After such a great opening match, we will now witness our second “Tournament of Glory” qualifier!

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match…

A long pause ensues as the lights go and a shooting star flies across the monitor. “Shooting Star” then begins to play. The music plays for about a minute and the lights turn back on, revealing Matt Lee in the ring.

Introducing first, hailing from Kansas City, Missouri and weighing in at 240 pounds…Matt Lee!

Matt Lee gets his chance to cement his name in history tonight.

But he needs to be aware that Lojax isn’t going to take what he did to him last week lying down. Matt Lee needs to watch his ass!

After a short hiatus, Classical Music begins to play. Chris Classic then enters the arena. Chris Classic walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Chris Classic enters the ring.

And his opponent, hailing from the Kayfabe Era and weighing in at 252 pounds…Chris Classic!

ROG’s old school wrestler will get his chance to qualify tonight!

But can he maintain a clear mindset with Damien Jones still lurking?

Ding-ding-ding

Lee and Classic circle each other in the ring. Lee thrusts forward, but Classic rolls to the side and gets back to his feet quickly. Classic then springs forward at Lee, but Lee sidesteps and avoids. Lee then holds out his hands for a test of strength. Classic accepts and grabs Lee’s hands. Classic gets the early advantage, but Lee begins to come back. Lee has the advantage for a second, but Classic quickly turns the tables. Lee then kicks Classic in the gut and whips him into the corner. Lee runs at Classic and hits him with a Dropkick. Classic falls in the corner and is now sitting. Lee backs up a few steps and runs at Classic. Lee goes for another Dropkick, but Classic moves out of the way rolls underneath the bottom rope. Lee keeps going and hits his crotch on the ring post. Classic walks around the ring and grabs Lee’s leg. Classic pulls Lee’s leg back and then crashes it into the ring post. Classic grabs Lee’s leg again and slams it into the ring post again. Classic then rolls back into ring and lifts Lee up. Classic whips Lee into the ropes. Lee bounces off of the ropes and Classic bends down. Lee flips clear over Classic and rolls him up. 1…2…kick out. Lee and Classic both get back to their feet. Lee kicks Classic and Classic punches Lee. Lee hits a lethal combination of punches and kicks to Classic, but Classic doesn’t fall and continues to fight back. Lee then nails Classic in the jaw with a Calf Kick, which sends Classic into the corner. Lee walks over to Classic, but Classic walks out of the corner and throws Lee into it. Classic hits Lee with a few heavy rights and lefts before lifting him up onto the top rope. Classic climbs up and seems to be going for a Superplex, but Lee punches Classic in the gut a few times and pushes him off. Lee then leaps off and nails Classic with a Moonsault. Lee covers Classic. 1…2…kick out. Lee rolls off of Classic and springs back to his feet. Lee lifts Classic up off the mat and runs across the ropes. Lee jumps up and goes for a Huracanrana, but Classic catches him and holds him.

Look at the strength of Chris Classic! The fact that he can grab someone, mid-move like that is amazing.

Classic walks around the ring with Lee held up and then slams him down to the mat, nailing a Powerbomb. Classic covers Lee. 1…2…kick out. Classic doesn’t get back to his feet as he locks Lee in the Camel Clutch. Lee gasps for air as Classic has the hold locked on perfectly. Lee looks about ready to tap, but he slides backwards in between Classic’s legs. Lee then sweeps Classic off of his feet and goes for a Bridge Pin attempt. 1…2…kick out. Lee gets back up and brings Classic to his feet. Lee runs across the ropes again, but this time, takes Classic down with the Huracanrana. Lee whips Classic into the ropes with the Huracanrana and Classic’s head rests on the middle rope. Lee notices the position that Classic is in and runs across the ropes. Lee rebounds off the ropes and goes for the 619, but Classic ducks and avoids. Classic gets up and Lee releases the middle rope. Lee turns around and nearly gets decapitated by a vicious Clothesline from Classic. Classic seems enraged as he lifts Lee off the mat and whips him across the ropes. Lee bounces off and runs right into a Powerslam from Classic. Classic covers Lee. 1…2…kick out! Classic sits up and then begins to beat on Lee. Classic throws wild lefts and rights at Lee’s face before getting back to his feet. Classic kicks Lee in the gut and sets him up for the Piledriver. Classic lifts Lee up, but Lee struggles out of the attempt, hooks Classic’s arm, and takes him down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Lee gets to his feet and walks towards the ropes. Lee goes onto the apron and awaits Classic’s revival. Once Classic comes to and turns around, Lee launches himself up and nails Classic with a Springboard DDT. Lee covers Classic. 1…2…kick out! Lee rolls off of Classic with an incredulous look on his face as he gets to his feet. Lee grabs Classic and picks him up. Lee tosses Classic into the ring post, shoulder first. Classic is hurt as Lee comes up behind him and goes for the Dragon Suplex. Classic, however, senses this and elbows Lee in the temple right away. Classic then locks Lee in the Sleeper Hold.

Chris Classic has that devastating Sleeper Hold of his locked on!

It might all be over now!

Classic has the Sleeper Hold locked on as tight as possible as Damien Jones starts walking down the ramp. Classic doesn’t realize it at first, but Damien begins banging on the mat to get Classic’s attention. Damien climbs up onto the apron as Ed Richards tries to get him to leave. Classic releases the Sleeper Hold and gets to his feet. Classic walks over to Damien and they start arguing. Lojax then runs down the ramp and pulls Damien off of the apron. Lojax and Damien brawl to the back. Back in the ring, Lee is back to his feet and he is creeping up behind Classic. Lee then hooks Classic’s arms up and nails him with the Dragon Suplex. Lee walks over to the corner and climbs to the top rope. Lee positions himself on the top rope before soaring off and nailing Classic with the Shooting Star Press. Lee covers Classic. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall, and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…Matt Lee!

“Shooting Star” begins to play again as Matt Lee celebrates his victory. Ed Richards raises his hand in victory, but Matt Lee swats Ed Richards away from him. Matt Lee exits the ring and walks up the ramp. All of a sudden, Lojax runs out from the side and climbs onto the ramp. Lojax grabs Matt Lee by the arm and whips him around. Lojax lifts Matt Lee onto his shoulders and nails him with the 604 Slam. Lojax then exits the arena as Matt Lee lies motionless on the ramp.

Lojax has gotten some vengeance for what Matt Lee did to him last week.

How dare he sneak attack a tired wrestler! That’s just despicable!!!

Matt Lee did it to him last week and you didn’t complain.

What are you talking about? Matt Lee would never do such a thing.

But we have footage and every-

I SAID MATT LEE DIDN’T DO IT!

Fine…fine…stay tuned, because up next will be our final “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match.

“Metalingus” blasts on the speakers as Jose jets out from the back with the ROG X-Rated Championship hung around his neck. Jose has his usual arrogant smile as he struts down the ramp and slides into the ring. Jose hands his title to Ed Richards.

This contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match! Introducing first, hailing from Greenwich, Connecticut and weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the ROG X-Rated Champion…Jose!

Looks like Jose will be coming out here alone tonight. I wonder how well he responded to finding out that Colton and The Chaos Kid had to fight each other.

Probably not too well…but I’m really just wondering that in the “Tournament of Glory,” what if Jose and Colton have to fight each other down the road?

There is a very long pause as the crowd gets louder and louder with anticipation. Then, “Welcome to the Jungle” starts up and Erik Michaels enters the arena. Erik Michaels smiles as the crowd cheer wildly for him. Erik Michaels walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps before entering the ring.

And his opponent, hailing from Miami, Florida and weighing in at 213 pounds…Erik Michaels!

What a blockbuster match this is bound to be! Two of the biggest stars of ROG to take each other with a shot at the ultimate prize on the line.

This should be one hell of a contest, Percy…one hell of a contest.

Ding-ding-ding

Jose and Michaels quickly lock up in the center of the ring. Michaels goes behind Jose and attaches himself to Jose’s waist. Michaels goes for a German Suplex, but Jose lands on his feet. Jose goes for a Dropkick, but Michaels rolls out of the way. Both men get back to their feet. They stare into each other’s eyes as they walk to the center of the ring. They lock up yet again and Jose locks Michaels in a Headlock. Michaels shoves Jose off of him and Jose goes running across the ropes. Jose rebounds off the ropes and runs straight into an Arm Drag. Michaels then locks Jose in a Hammerlock, but Jose quickly escapes. Jose quickly escapes the ring and walks around. Michaels glares at Jose from inside the ring as Jose paces back and forth on the outside. Jose slides back into the ring and runs at Michaels. Michaels takes Jose down with a Drop Toe Hold and applies a Bow and Arrow hold on Jose. Jose manages to refrain from screaming and shifts his weight to the side. Jose and Michaels roll to the side and Jose grasps the bottom rope. Michaels releases the hold and Jose exits the ring again as the crowd boos him. Jose walks around on the outside of the ring and then begins walking up the ramp as Ed Richards begins a count. 1…2…3…4…5…Michaels exits the ring as well and runs up the ramp after Jose. Ed Richards restarts his count. 1…2…Michaels catches up with Jose…3…Michaels whips Jose around…4…Jose nails Michaels in the jaw with a swift Spinning Wheel Kick…5…Jose sprints back down the ramp and slides back into the ring…6…7…Michaels gets to his feet…8…Michaels jets down the ramp…9…Michaels slides back into the ring just in time. Jose nails Michaels with a Baseball Slide as soon as Michaels slides back into the ring, sending Michaels back to the arena floor. Jose runs across the ropes as Michaels gets to his feet on the arena floor. Jose continues to run and rams his body against Michaels’s with a Suicide Dive. Both men are laid out on the arena floor.

Jose has just sacrificed his body to inflict damage to Michaels!

It shows that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to win. He’s a true champion.

Jose slowly gets to his feet by using the ring apron to help him recover. Michaels isn’t far behind as he crawls over to the steel steps and uses them to get back to his feet. Jose gets back into the ring as Ed Richards counts to 5. Michaels also re-enters the ring at the count of 6. Jose gets to his feet and stomps on Michaels before lifting him up and whipping him into the corner. Jose runs at Michaels and nails him with a Shining Wizard to the jaw. Jose backs up a few steps, but then turns around and nails Michaels with the Puerto Rican Buzzsaw Kick. Michaels falls into a sitting position in the corner as Jose runs across the ropes. Jose rebounds off and nails Michaels with the Running Face Wash. Michaels falls to his side and Jose covers him. 1…2…kick out. Jose slowly picks Michaels up and sets him up for the Flip Bottom, but Michaels elbows Jose in the side of the head. Jose releases Michaels and Michaels capitalizes with a Fisherman Suplex. Michaels hooks Jose leg. 1…2…kick out. Michaels gets to his feet and locks Jose in the Inverted Sharpshooter, but Jose kicks Michaels off before serious damage can be done. Jose scurries back to his feet. Jose dashes at Michaels, who takes Jose down with a quick Northern Lights Suplex. Michaels gets to his feet and climbs up to the top rope. Michaels jumps off and misses an Elbow Drop. Jose then rushes over to the corner and climbs up to the top. Jose soars off and nails Michaels with a Phoenix Splash. Jose quickly gets back up and runs to the other corner. Jose leaps onto the top rope and nails Michaels with a 450 Splash. Jose covers Michaels. 1…2…kick out! Jose gets on all fours and bangs on the mat as he argues with Ed Richards about the count. Jose grabs Michaels and lifts him back up. Michaels powers out, however, and kicks Jose in the gut. Michaels then nails Jose with the Argentina Piledriver. Michaels drops on top of Jose. 1…2…kick out!

That was a terrific combination that Jose pulled off, but Erik Michaels wasn’t about to take it lying down!

Both men don’t look to be in good shape, but they’re pulling through…that’s for sure.

Michaels slowly gets to his feet and lifts Jose up. Michaels punches Jose a few times and then goes for a spinning backhand shot, but Jose ducks and kicks Michaels in the midsection. Jose then lays Michaels out with the Twist of Fate. Jose grabs Michaels and locks him in his own submission, the Inverted Sharpshooter. Sweat glistens down the side of Jose’s face as Michaels screams out in pain. Jose is cringing his teeth and applying more and more pressure with each passing second. Michaels looks about ready to tap. Jose is now smirking, but he has lost some focus and Michaels is now advancing to the ropes. Michaels gets closer and closer as Jose attempts to lock on the hold like he had it previously. However, he can’t, as Michaels has already loosened himself out enough for him to grab the ropes. Jose releases the hold. Jose lifts Michaels off the mat, but Michaels shoves Jose back. Jose runs at Michaels and Michaels lifts Jose onto his shoulders. Michaels then drapes Jose onto one of his shoulders as he calls for the Michnoku Driver II. Jose is viciously struggling to escape, but to no avail, as Jose’s head gets planted into the mat. Michaels covers Jose. 1…2…Michaels breaks up his own cover and gets up. The crowd and Ed Richards are confused as Michaels locks Jose in the Inverted Sharpshooter, adding insult to injury. Jose doesn’t give in, as he fights the pain. Suddenly, The Chaos Kid runs down the ramp. He jumps onto the ring apron and distracts Ed Richards momentarily. Colton then runs through the crowd slowly, still hurt from his match earlier. Colton has a chair in hand. Colton slides into the ring as Michaels releases the hold. Michaels walks over to Chaos and Chaos hops down off the apron. Michaels walks a few steps back and turns around. Chaos jumps back onto the apron. Ed Richards is still distracted. Colton wildly swings the chair, nearly taking Michaels’s head off in the process. Michaels is laid out in the ring and Colton escapes the ring and runs through the crowd.

I can’t believe what we have just witnessed here! It’s absolutely disgusting.

The Puerto Rican Express do what they have to do to win! That’s what makes them all so great.

Chaos manages to distract Ed Richards long enough for Jose to get to his feet. Jose slightly limps over to the corner as Chaos drops down off the apron. Ed Richards turns around as soon as Jose jumps off the top rope. Jose goes for the Spiral Tap, but Michaels moves out of the way at the last second somehow. Jose crashes on the mat below as Michaels covers him. 1…2…kick out! Michaels gets to his feet, but nearly falls back. He seems to be bleeding from his forehead slightly and he’s dazed extremely. Michaels can’t manage to get back to a normal state of mind as Jose picks himself up using the ropes for leverage. Jose limps over to Michaels, who is looking in the completely wrong direction at this point. Jose whips Michaels around and kicks him in the gut. Jose then takes Michaels out of commission with the Puerto Rican Destroyer. Jose crawls over to Michaels and flips him on his back before covering him. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall, and advancing to the “Tournament of Glory”…Jose!

“Metalingus” starts up again as Jose celebrates in the ring. Ed Richards hands him his title belt and Jose holds it up with pride as he celebrates his huge victory. Colton and The Chaos Kid run down the ramp and congratulate him. Jose is seen talking to Colton about the both of the two of them advancing. They all leave the ring together and walk up the ramp. Jose and Colton continue to talk as The Chaos Kid walks a few steps behind them. The Chaos Kid doesn’t seem upset or jealous in any way as they all disappear into the back.

Jose wins yet again with the help of his cronies. Seriously…what’s so hard about following the rules?

Rules are made to be broken, Percy. That’s something that you’re going to have to deal with.

Dan Jackson – Blue
The Sound – Cyan
Nightmare – Olive

The camera cuts to the interview room where Dan Jackson and The Sound are sitting in expensive recliner chairs. Dan Jackson no longer sports a neck brace.

Hello, folks. As you all know, I’m Dan Jackson and tonight I will be joined by the former Rockstar and 2 time ROG Tag Team Champion…The Sound!

I’m always glad to be here with you, Dan, but I ask that tonight, you keep it short. I have a very hectic schedule and a lot on my mind.

That’s fine…I just need to ask a few questions. First off, last week you were screwed out of an opportunity to gain the ROG World Heavyweight Championship when Damien Jones came out and distracted you. How did you react?

Well, I’m not one to lose his cool, but Damien Jones has certainly crossed the line as of last week. I had the golden opportunity right in front of me and it was taken away because of Damien…that really upset me on a level that I have never been before.

How is yours and Damien’s relationship?

We don’t even talk anymore…his jealousy and rage has consumed him. He’s just doing to this to annoy me and I must say that it’s working very well.

What about Chris Classic? How is he responding to everything?

It’s bad enough that Classic already hates Damien, but Damien decided to cost Classic a big opportunity this week and I can guarantee you that he will do something about that. Classic may seem calm, but you should never piss him off.

Final question…how do you plan to end this phenomenon?

Well…to be quite honest…I have no idea. If Damien doesn’t stop and soon, then we’re going to have resort to violence to settle this and I don’t want that. I want things to go back to how they used to be before Classic returned, but Damien doesn’t. Damien wants to try and break away from me, but he will realize soon enough that I was carrying him and when that happens, he will come crawling back…and I will have no choice but to deny him just as he has done to me. That’s it for me. I’m gone.

Thanks for your time, Sound.

Sounds gets up from his seat and exits the Interview Room. Nightmare then barges in with Spawn in his grasp.

Dante Diablo…this is a message to you. Last week, I gave you a small idea of what will happen to you. I let the fans use their minds when I gave you a short view of Hybrid’s condition…I bet you haven’t spoken to him since. Well, I’m going to show you what can happen to you right now…with your underling, Spawn.

Nightmare throws Spawn onto the rug and pulls a match from out of his boot. Nightmare then reveals lighter fluid in the other hand. Nightmare places the lighter fluid on the rug as he lifts reveals some handcuffs as well. Nightmare places the handcuffs on Spawn and the lifts Spawn off of the rug and nails him with the Tombstone Piledriver. Nightmare flips Spawn onto his stomach and pours the entire jug of lighter fluid on Spawn. Nightmare then lights the match and tosses it on top of Spawn, who combusts. Spawn jumps around wildly. The sparks fly everywhere, but there isn’t much Spawn can do about it.

Don’t mess with me, unless you want that to be your future.

The screen fuzzes, with the last image being that of the Spawn inferno…

David Simou – Brown
Winner – Yellow

The camera cuts back to the arena.

Nightmare is hell bent on destroying the Dark Republic and their leader…but when will he get his next chance?

I can’t really tell…Dante Diablo must be furious after losing to Lojax last week, but now his teammates won’t even be there for moral support.

Well, it looks like The Sound is fed up with Damien Jones…honestly, I don’t blame him.

Maybe The Sound should’ve thought about the repercussions of ditching him for Classic. Now, it’s coming back to bite him in the ass. But let’s move onto the Main Event for the evening.

Dash Blade vs. Jamarius Jackson is sure to be a great contest. What we know is that next week, there will be a singles match and a Battle Royal to determine the final two competitors for the “Tournament of Glory.” Both of these men will be involved in those matches. However, the winner of this not only gets the singles match, but also gets to name his opponent.

How exciting! The winner of this match will definitely have the advantage.

“Tell Me When to Go” starts up as Jamarius Jackson enters the arena. Jamarius Jackson walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Jamarius Jackson enters the ring as the crowd boos. He seems happy for some reason.

This contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from The Bronx, New York and weighing in at 245 pounds…Jamarius Jackson!

I wonder who Jamarius Jackson would pick as his opponent…I bet that he would be looking for the easy way out.

As long as he qualifies, I don’t think he would care.

“The Way I Am” plays on the speakers for about 15 seconds as the crowd cheers loudly. Nobody appears at the top of the entrance ramp, however. The music begins to play until it loops.

I wonder where Dash Blade is.

He obviously chickened out…he can’t take Jamarius Jackson and he knows it.

The music begins to play and then suddenly stops. Jamarius Jackson smiles arrogantly in the ring as a video pops up on the monitor. It’s David Simou.

I have just gained knowledge of something very interesting. Earlier tonight, Dash Blade was attacked by a member of the Warzone Roster. We will reveal this data at a later date…however, we will retaliate. Dash Blade is incapable of wrestling tonight, so he has been granted the opportunity to choose a member of the Meltdown Roster that will be involved in the Battle Royal next week to represent him. And that man is…

“Pretender” by the Foo Fighters blasts on the speakers as Black Dagger enters the arena. Black Dagger slowly walks down the ramp to loud cheers. Black Dagger climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring as Jackson backs into the corner, terrified by Black Dagger’s presence.

And his opponent, hailing from Manchester, England and weighing in at 280 pounds…Black Dagger!

I can’t believe the events that have unfolded here tonight! Black Dagger to replace Dash Blade in the Main Event to take on Jamarius Jackson.

Is it our fault that Dash Blade got attacked? No! It’s his. Why should he be
able to pick a replacement? Jamarius Jackson should’ve won this contest by forfeit.

Ding-ding-ding

Jackson is in the corner of the ring when Dagger sets his attention on him. Dagger slowly walks over to Jackson, who seems to be trembling. Dagger feigns forward at Jackson and Jackson jumps out of the corner. Dagger predicted this as he grabs Jackson as soon as Jackson gets back to his feet. Dagger tosses Jackson into the corner and kicks him repeatedly in the gut. Jackson falls down a bit with every shot. Jackson is now sitting in the corner as Dagger begins kicking Jackson in the face. Dagger is wiping his boot across Jackson’s face. Dagger backs up a bit and runs at Jackson. Dagger drives his knees into the face of Jackson. Jackson seems to be out of it as Dagger lifts him up. Jackson staggers as Dagger whips him into the other corner. Dagger runs at Jackson and goes for a Body Splash, but Jackson rolls out of the way and Dagger connects with the top turnbuckle. Jackson then stands up behind Dagger and takes him down with a Neckbreaker. Jackson covers Dagger, but Dagger throws Jackson off as soon as he goes for the pin. Dagger pulls himself back up as Jackson also gets to his feet. Jackson starts to back away at Dagger with rapid shots. All of the shots are in succession, but they don’t have much effect on Dagger. Dagger palms Jackson’s face and shoves him back, allowing Dagger to escape from the corner. Dagger runs at Jackson and knocks his lights out with a vicious Big Boot. Jackson falls directly down to the mat and Dagger grabs him by the throat. Dagger lifts Jackson up and begins to crush the larynx of Jackson. Dagger then lifts Jackson up for a Chokeslam, but Jackson struggles out of it. Jackson then runs across the ropes and nails Dagger with a Running Forearm. Dagger stumbles back a bit, but manages to maintain his stance. Jackson then runs across the ropes again and hits Dagger with a Shoulder Block, but Dagger stays on his feet. Jackson runs across the ropes for a third time and Dagger goes for a Clothesline, but Jackson ducks and stops behind Dagger. Jackson then hits Dagger with the Jack Dat Punk. Jackson covers Dagger. 1…kick out.

Black Dagger is obviously giving it his all…and he isn’t even doing this for himself.

Black Dagger wants to eliminate his biggest competition for the Battle Royal next week. He needs to hurt Jamarius Jackson now, or he knows that he’ll lose.

Jackson gets to his feet and walks over to the corner. Jackson climbs up to the top rope as fast as he can, but he still takes too long as Dagger revives. Dagger walks over to Jackson and sweeps him off his feet. Jackson falls crotch first onto the top turnbuckle. Dagger then sets Jackson up and lifts him off the top rope. Dagger carries Jackson around the ring in a Crucifix position before nailing him with the Death Drop. Dagger gets to his feet and runs across the ropes. On the rebound, Dagger jumps up and hits Jackson with a Running Leg Drop. Dagger covers Jackson. 1…2…kick out. Dagger gets back up and grabs Jackson by his hair. Dagger drags Jackson to the corner of the ring and proceeds to pounds on him. Dagger hits many stiff shots to Jackson’s face before placing his boot on Jackson’s face. Dagger holds onto the top rope and pushes his boot into Jackson’s face. This move is illegal, so Ed Richards starts a count. 1…2…3…4…Dagger stops. Dagger backs away from Jackson, as instructed by Ed Richards. This gives Jackson to recover and recollect himself. Jackson gets back to his feet and Ed Richards allows Dagger to continue. Dagger runs at Jackson, who drops to the mat and manages to take Dagger off his feet with a Drop Toe Hold. Dagger’s face connects with the second turnbuckle. Jackson gets to his feet and hits a lethal jab to the back of Dagger’s head. Jackson backs away from Dagger, allowing Dagger to get back to his feet. Dagger keeps feeling the back of his head, checking for blood from the shot earlier. Dagger is enraged now as Jackson walks towards Dagger. Jackson doesn’t seem frightened any longer as he has his fists up, as if he were boxing. Jackson throws a few rights and lefts before hitting Dagger with a European Uppercut. Dagger nearly loses his balance from the swift shots from Jackson. Jackson continues his assault and Dagger falls to one knee. Jackson then levels Dagger with more quick jabs. Dagger is unsuccessful at dodging any of the shots. Jackson then runs across the ropes and nails Dagger with the Drive By. Dagger falls and Jackson covers him. 1…2…kick out!

Jamarius Jackson seems to really have control of this match.

He’s using his speed to conquer Black Dagger. It’s a very smart tactic from Jamarius Jackson.

Jackson can’t believe that Dagger managed to kick out. Jackson gets to his feet and climbs up to the top rope again. Jackson gets to the top and immediately soars off. Jackson extends his arm in mid flight. Jackson is inches away from hitting an Elbow Drop, but Dagger rolls out of the way just in time. Jackson’s elbow collides with the mat. Dagger gets to his feet and lifts Jackson up. Dagger twists Jackson’s arm and chops down on Jackson’s elbow. Dagger twists Jackson’s arm again and takes him down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Dagger sits up as he tries to shake off the damages done to him earlier. Dagger gets to his feet and lifts up Jackson. Dagger scoops Jackson up onto his shoulders with Jackson facing the roof. Dagger holds him up in the Torture Rack position for a few seconds and then jumps up. Dagger crashes down to his knees, stretching the body of Jackson even more. Dagger uses his strength to get back to his feet and plants Jackson into the mat with the Wakey Wakey. Dagger covers Jackson. 1…2…kick out! Dagger gets to his feet. He looks to the ramp, where Ricky Reynolds is seen walking down. Dagger gets distracted momentarily, allowing Jackson to garner up enough strength to get back to his feet. Jackson creeps up behind Dagger and locks on the Mugged. It doesn’t last long, however, as Dagger elbows Jackson in the gut. Reynolds slides his him into the ring and grabs Dagger’s boot, nearly tripping him. Dagger turns around and tries to grab Reynolds, but Reynolds backs away. Dagger turns around and Jackson runs at him. Dagger reacts quickly with the Black Hole Slam. Dagger covers Jackson. 1…2…kick out! Dagger gets back to his feet, glaring at Reynolds. Dagger keeps his focus on Reynolds as he walks back over to Jackson. Dagger grasps Jackson and lifts him up off the mat. Dagger whips Jackson across the ropes. Jackson rebounds off the ropes and Dagger bends over. Jackson punts Dagger in the face and then throws him down to the mat with as much force possible.

Ricky Reynolds is really causing a distracting for Black Dagger. If this continues, Black Dagger might not have great chances of winning.

Black Dagger didn’t have great chances of winning when the match started. He’s not in the same league as Jamarius Jackson.

Jackson grabs Dagger’s leg and locks him in a Spinning Toe Hold. The hold exhausts Dagger a bit, but Dagger manages to reach the ropes before tapping. Reynolds begins banging on the apron as Jackson lifts Dagger up. Jackson lets out a wild flurry of punches. Jackson corners Dagger and then whips him into the opposite corner. Jackson then runs at Dagger and goes for a Running Tagged, but Dagger ducks out of the way. Jackson connects with the turnbuckle and Dagger kicks Jackson in his ribs. Dagger then lifts Jackson up and nails him with a very sloppy Last Ride, since Dagger’s leg blew out mid-move. Dagger falls to the mat with Jackson. Dagger crawls over to Jackson and covers him, but Reynolds jumps onto the apron and distracts Ed Richards. Suddenly, Dash Blade limps out from the back with a crutch in hand. Dash sneaks up behind Reynolds and knocks him in the back of the head with crutch. Reynolds falls forward and Dash drops down and punches away at Reynolds. Ed Richards then turns around and notices Dagger on top of Jackson. 1…2…kick out! Dagger sits up, furious. Dagger gets to his feet and grabs Jackson. Dagger tosses Jackson up to a vertical stance and kicks him in the midsection. Dagger then lifts Jackson up onto his shoulders and signals for the Lights Out. Dagger tosses Jackson, but Jackson somehow manages to land on his feet in front of Dagger. Jackson then hits at least 20 rapid jabs in succession. Jackson goes for the finishing wind-up blow, but Dagger ducks and avoids. Dagger grasps Jackson by the throat and lays him out with the Dead End. Dagger throws his body on top of Jackson’s. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by pinfall…Black Dagger!

“Pretender” starts up again as Dash Blade enters the ring and celebrates with Black Dagger.

Black Dagger has managed to defeat Jamarius Jackson, even with Ricky Reynolds interfering. Therefore, Dash Blade gets to choose his opponent for his qualifying match next week.

But who will he choose? Will Dash Blade be honorable and pick a challenging opponent or take the easy way out by picking a jobber?

Well, it looks like we’re about to find out.

Dash Blade calls for the mic as “Pretender” dies down.

Thanks to this big man here, I now get to choose my opponent for my “Tournament of Glory” qualifier next week. Now, most people would choose an easy opponent to guarantee victory, but I’m not like most people, as you all know! My decision will be a shocker to many.

The crowd cheers and chants, “DASH! DASH! DASH!”

You see, the winner of the “Tournament of Glory” earns a World or Universal Title Match at “All Guts, No Glory.” After I qualify next week, I will be guaranteed my shot at fame. Next week, I will show everybody what will happen once I win the “Tournament of Glory.” I need to prove that my ROG career is worth something…I need to prove that I am above mediocrity. Therefore, next week, in my “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match, I will be facing none other than the ROG World Champ…Ricky Reynolds!

Ricky Reynolds is just recovering from the crutch shot to the back of the head when he hears the announcement. He goes to enter the ring, but Black Dagger scares him off. The crowd cheers as Reynolds walks up the ramp.

And I can promise everyone that next week, I will be victorious…I will earn my rightful spot in the “Tournament of Glory” and I will prove that I am the best!

“The Way I Am” starts up as Dash Blade drops the mic and exits the ring with Black Dagger. They both walk up the ramp to cheers and vanish into the back.

What a revelation! Dash Blade has chosen to take on the best of the best in singles action next week in one of the final two “Tournament of Glory” qualifying matches!

That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen anybody do! He gets to choose his opponent and he chooses the freakin’ champ!? I could understand if he could challenge for the title, but he can’t! This just…it angers me how stupid these wrestlers can be.

This wasn’t stupidity…it’s about honor and pride for Dash Blade and he needs to prove himself and a win over the champ will definitely do just that. Either way, Meltdown has come to a close for this week. Don’t miss next week’s episode when Dash Blade takes on ROG World Champion Ricky Reynolds in a “Tournament of Glory” qualifying match as well as a Battle Royal to determine the other final spot in the tournament. As for now, I’m Percy Chapman, here with Trent Heart. Goodnight everybody!

The camera cuts to Dash Blade and Black Dagger, who are playing to the crowd at the top of the ramp. The camera slowly fades to black…
