| Hey guys, for those of you that saw ECW or if you've missed it, Matt Hardy won a Fatal 4-Way Match and now, he will face the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry @ Summerslam 21 for the NEWLY Created ECW Heavyweight Championship.
Will Matt Hardy finally win a World Heavyweight Championship or will The World's Strongest Man be too much for the Era of Mattitude?

| I dont think you can class the ECW title as a World Heavyweight belt ... or else it would be called the ECW World Heavyweight Title .... In my eyes , and proberly the WWE's the ECW title is just as good as a midcard table.

| Yeah if Matt hardy wins he will still not be a world heavyweight champion. WWE dropped the whole world champion from the ECW title after big show lost it.
And yes i think Matt Hardy will come out the victor in this match. Matt dropped the US championship for a reason and i think this is why.

| I can't see Matt winning this match. Matt lost the U.S Title for a reason and that was because WWE wanted it back on Smackdown where it belongs. Sooner or later Matt Hardy will be the face of ECW as he has the talent and the crowd backing but Henry's reign has only just begun and I'm pretty sure WWE will keep him on top for a while. Which is better as a long chase for the belt will make it mean more when Matt finally wins it.

| Actually, Vinec dropped the word World Title after Bobby Lashley was stripped of the ECW World Heavyweight Title when he went to RAW and Johnny Nitro now John Morrison won it @ the Night of Champions last year.

I have to agree with you here. While I think it is possible that Hardy will win (as WWE has being trying to have surprises on purpose lately), I don't think it is very likely. I don't think Matt losing the US Title is necessarily an indication of truth to the rumors that Hardy will only receive small sporadic pushes but never get anywhere. I do think that WWE wants him to be ECW champion, but that they want Henry's reign to last a bit longer than this. I don't have any problems with that either. Henry is not going to be my favorite ECW champion since I really don't look forward to his matches, but I think Hardy will make a good long term contender for the title. I want Hardy to win the ECW championship, because world title or not, it is the top title on the brand he is currently signed to and it is a potential springboard to a world title reign in the future if he does well. However, this win doesn't have to be at this year's SummerSlam.
