Percy Chapman – Red
Trent Heart – Green
Ed Richards – Violet

“Last Resort” blasts on the speakers as the camera swirls rapidly around the arena full of rabid fans. They’re all on their feet and the camera stops at the announce table.

Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of Monday Night Meltdown! I’m Percy Chapman, here with my broadcast colleague, Trent Heart!

Tonight looks to be another exciting night, Percy. We have Zachary taking on Ricky Reynolds in the Main Event and the 6-Man Tag Match that was cancelled last week because of how out of control it was!

On top of that, two ROG Mainstays in Dash Blade and The Sound take each other on in singles competition!

But let’s get started right now with Colton taking on Kastro Makalevi!

“Breathe Into Me” starts up as Colton emerges from the back with the ROG Tag Team Title around his waist. Colton walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Colton leans into the ring and hands his title to Ed Richards.

This contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Bridgeport, Connecticut and weighing in at 260 pounds…he is one half of the ROG Tag Team Champions…Colton!

It’s rather astonishing how long he’s held that title, isn’t it?

Well, it’s simply because that they’re the best team around. The perfect blend of power and speed from The Chaos Kid and Colton is currently unmatched in ROG.

“Hit ‘Em Up” blasts on the speakers as Kastro Makalevi enters the arena. Kastro Makalevi dances down the ramp to the beat of the music as the crowd cheers. Kastro Makalevi slides into the ring and takes off his bling.

And his opponent, hailing from Long Beach, California and weighing in at 220 pounds…Kastro Makalevi!

I honestly can’t stand this competitor. His stereotypical attitude is horrible for ROG as a company.

But the fans love it, so how can it possible be that bad?

Ding-ding-ding

Makalevi continues dancing even after the bell has rung. Colton goes to grapple Makalevi, but Makalevi does a split and avoids. Makalevi does a Break Dancing Leg Sweep to take Colton down quickly. Makalevi gets right back to his feet and goes a Break Dancing Leg Drop to the chest of Colton. Makalevi rolls backwards with a huge grin on his face, obviously enjoying himself. Colton gets up, furious. Colton walks towards Makalevi. Makalevi punches Colton a few times and then rolls to his side. Makalevi hits Colton a few more times before rolling again. Makalevi lands a few more shots and goes to roll again, but Colton catches him by his foot and Makalevi hits the mat face first. Colton grabs Makalevi by his legs and tosses him half way across the ring. Makalevi hits the mat hard and Colton approaches yet again.

Just when you think that there was a way to confuse the big man, he adapts and takes advantage.

And it doesn’t look like he’s done just yet!

Colton grabs Makalevi and picks him up off the mat. Colton forces Makalevi into the corner and then whips him across the ring. Makalevi lands hard in the corner turnbuckle and Colton runs at him. Makalevi gets his boot up and connects with Colton’s face. Makalevi runs across the ropes and hits Colton in the face again with a Big Boot. Colton stumbles back, but keeps his ground. Makalevi kicks Colton in the back of the knee and Colton drops down to one knee. Makalevi walks around Colton and wraps his arm around Colton’s head. Makalevi goes for a DDT, but Colton uses his strength to prevent the move. Colton gets to his feet and lifts Makalevi off the ground with Makalevi still on him. Colton rushes to the corner and drives Makalevi’s body into the turnbuckle. Makalevi drops in the corner and Colton runs across the ropes. Colton runs towards the turnbuckle, but Makalevi escapes the ring before Colton can attack.

Kastro Makalevi uses his excellent wherewithal to avoid an attack.

And god only knows what Colton was preparing to do to him…

Colton follows Makalevi to the arena floor. Makalevi notices this and runs around the ring before rolling back in. Colton rolls back into the ring and receives multiple shots to the back of the head and spine. Makalevi picks Colton up and quickly takes him back down with a Snap Suplex. Makalevi rushes over to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. Makalevi soars off and nails Colton with the Ghetto Stomp. Makalevi covers Colton. 1…2…kick out! Makalevi gets on his feet and picks Colton up, but Colton powers out and connects with the Twist of Fate. Colton walks over to the corner and climbs up slowly. Colton flips off and nails the 720 Moonsault. Colton covers Makalevi. 1…2…kick out! Colton climbs off of Makalevi and uses the ropes to get back up. Colton grabs Makalevi and drags him over to the corner. Makalevi is sitting in the corner once again as Colton runs across the ropes and goes for the Running Face Wash, but Makalevi moves and Colton gets his leg caught in the ropes. Makalevi gets to his feet and Dropkicks Colton. Colton goes over the top rope and to the arena floor.

One miscalculation from Colton could’ve easily just cost him this match.

Kastro Makalevi is taking no chances. He’s staying grounded for the most part and scouting his opponent very well.

The Outlawz need to get back into the title chase and this match can do just that!

Makalevi tosses himself over the top rope and takes Colton down with a Slingshot Plancha Dive. Makalevi lands on his feet and tosses Colton back into the ring. Colton gets back onto his feet. Makalevi slides into the ring and receives a kick to the gut from Colton. Colton pulls Makalevi in and goes for the Corkscrew Neckbreaker, but Makalevi twists out and kicks Colton in the gut. Makalevi then connects with the Stunner and Colton flies back. Makalevi rushes over to the Colton and covers him. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by Pinfall…Kastro Makalevi!

“Hit ‘Em Up” starts up again. Kastro Makalevi gets onto his feet and gets his arm raised in victory. Jamarius Jackson runs down the ramp and raises Kastro Makalevi’s arm as well. They celebrate in the ring together over a fallen Colton.

Well that should get them some exposure in ROG.

Now all we need is Red Lightning to win and maybe they can get back in the hunt.

Erik Michaels – Cyan
David Simou – Brown

Erik Michaels is seen running around backstage. Erik Michaels approaches a door that says “David Simou” on a plaque. Erik Michaels bangs on the door.

Come in.

Erik Michaels opens the door and slams it against the wall.

I can’t believe you.

What do you mean?

You gave Zachary a spot in the Rumble just for asking!?

Yes…yes I did.

Why the hell haven’t I gotten a spot?!

You haven’t asked?

Don’t try to be funny. I want my shot that you know damn well I deserve!

Well if you have a problem with asking to get it, then why don’t you earn your shot?

Because if Zachary doesn’t need to earn it, then I sure as hell don’t need to either!

If you say so. Tell ya what. I’ll give you a shot in the ROG Rumble. I believe that makes you the tenth person from Meltdown

And…

And what?

Is there a catch?

No, there actually isn’t. We’ve been through a lot and I can say that you do deserve this, but if you disappoint me in the ROG Rumble, then there will be hell to pay.

Thanks, Dave. You won’t be disappointed, trust me!

Erik Michaels exits the room and closes the door behind him.
The camera cuts back to the ring.

Erik Michaels is now in the ROG Rumble!

Good for him. Now up next will be a match that has never happened before in ROG history. It will be two of ROG’s elite in Dash Blade and The Sound taking each other on.

Not only that, but they’re both in the ROG Rumble!

“Battery” blasts on the speakers as The Sound jets out from the back and walks down the ramp to a chorus of boos. The Sound flips the crowd off and slides into the ring.

This contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from England and weighing in at 245 pounds…The Sound!

Wow. He’s taken a turn for the worst…

But watch how much more he will do now that he doesn’t have the nagging crowd on his ass!

“The Way I Am” plays as Dash Blade walks out from the back. Dash Blade has a few bandages on his head and a large bandage around his rib area. Dash Blade walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Dash Blade leans into the ring.

And his opponent, hailing from Brooklyn, New York and weighing in at 198 pounds…Dash Blade!

He doesn’t look physically able to fight…

His heart is definitely overshadowing his brains.

Ding-ding-ding

Dash and Sound immediately lock up with Sound getting the better of Dash and rushing him into the corner. Ed Richards forces Sound to release and Sound does so. Sound then suck punches Dash. Sound grabs Dash and whips him into the opposite corner. Sound charges at Dash, but Dash ducks out of the way and Sound crashes his head into the top turnbuckle. Sound turns around and receives a kick from Dash. Dash lifts Sound up and crashes him into the mat with a Suplex. Dash runs across the ropes and hits a Running Senton on Sound. Dash goes for a quick cover, but only gets a 1. Dash springs back up and drags Sound into the center of the ring. Dash drops down and locks an Indian Deathlock on Sound. Sound refrains from screaming and slowly crawls to the ropes until he can grab them and break the hold. Dash releases and gets right back to his feet as Sound picks himself up as well. They stare at each other intensely for a few seconds.

Even though they’ve never met in an ROG ring, they sure do seem to know each other pretty well.

They must’ve been preparing for this match since gaining knowledge of it.

Dash and Sound continue to stare at each other until Dash calls for a Test of Strength. Sound goes through with it and grabs Dash’s hands. They go back and forth with momentum swings during the Test of Strength, but Dash wins in the end and kicks Sound in the gut. Dash pulls Sound in and lifts him up over his head. Dash hooks Sound’s legs and then plants him into the mat face first with the Gory Bomb. Dash rolls Sound onto his back and hooks the leg. 1…2…kick out. Dash gets right back on his feet and walks over to the corner. Dash climbs up the ropes steadily as Sound gets back to his feet. Dash soars off the top rope and receives a shot the ribs from Sound. Dash flips over and holds his ribs as he cradles back and forth on the mat. Sound grabs Dash’s legs and spreads them apart. Sound sticks his leg in between and stomps on Dash’s bandage and grinds his foot into the ribs.

The Sound certainly knows about that injury.

Having that bandage on is like putting a huge red bulls-eye on!

Sound continues grinding his foot into Dash before twisting Dash’s legs and then flipping him onto his stomach, applying the Sharpshooter. Dash is screaming out on the mat now. Dash attempts to reach the ropes, but can’t. Dash rolls onto his back and tries to kick Sound off of him, but Sound rolls through and maintains the hold. Dash is pulling his own hair now. Sound is grinding his teeth trying to apply more pressure. Dash bangs on the mat with a closes fist and channel his remaining strength into his legs. Dash flips Sound off of him and gets off the mat. Dash limps on one leg as he moves forward Sound. Dash is standing above Sound, who is on one knee. Sound headbutts Dash in the gut. Dash backs away a few steps, but then runs right back at Sound and takes him down with a Spear. Dash rolls on the mat, seemingly hurting himself in the process.

Dash Blade might’ve done as much damage to himself as he did to The Sound.

But at least he has the advantage now.

Dash gets back up, holding his midsection. Dash lifts Sound off the mat and tosses him into the corner. Dash runs at him and nails him with a Stinger Splash. Sound stumbles forward and Dash runs across the ropes. Dash goes for an STO, but Sound sidesteps. Dash turns around and receives a kick to the gut followed by a Piledriver. Sound flips Dash onto his back and covers him. 1…2…kick out! Sound rolls off of Dash and lifts him off the mat. Sound kicks Dash in the chest and then pulls him in for the finishing touch. Sound lifts Dash up and signals for The Sound Effect. Sound goes to slam Dash down, but Dash counters with a Hurricanrana sending Sound into the turnbuckle. Sound turns around and Dash scoops Sound onto his shoulders. Dash can barely lift the weight, as he midsection is about to give way and his knees tremble a bit, but Dash manages to hit the Blade Driver. Dash lays his arm across the chest of Sound. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by Pinfall…Dash Blade!

“The Way I Am” plays as Ed Richards helps Dash Blade to his feet and raises his arm. Dash Blade has one arm in the air and the other across his bandage, breathing heavily. Dash Blade slowly exits the ring and walks up the ramp before exiting backstage.

He overcame his injury to win tonight.

But tonight isn’t that essential compared to the ROG Rumble and his chances of winning there are very low.

Well it all depends on the number that he draws, Trent. Also factor that with The Sound wanting revenge and possibly even WWEFan being in the Rumble…

And his chances go down even more! Face it…Dash Blade has too much to overcome.

Now we will see a rematch of the scheduled 6-Man Tag Match from last week, which ended with…shall I say controversy?

If you please. All I know is that I don’t expect any different from tonight.

“Supertramp” starts up and plays for a bit before Bolton Stevens enters the arena. Bolton has a robe on that has a bunch of rhinestone designs on it. Golden pyros go off at the top of the ramp once Bolton Stevens enters the arena. Bolton Stevens then proceeds to walk down the ramp and roll into the ring.

This 6-Man Tag Team Contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing team number one, first, hailing from New York City and weighing in at 210 pounds…Bolton Stevens!

Just as Ed Richards finishes his introducing, the lights go out. A shooting star image then passes the monitor screen and “Shooting Star” plays. The lights turn back on and Matt Lee is in the center of the ring, alongside Bolton Stevens. Bolton Stevens jumps back from shock.

And his tag team partner, hailing from Kansas City, Missouri and weighing in at 240 pounds…Matt Lee!

There he goes scaring his teammates again.

And it was as funny this week as it was last week!

“Metalingus” blares throughout the arena as Jose walks slowly out from the back with bandages on his midsection. Jose has the X-Rated Championship hoisted on his shoulder. Jose advances down the aisle, not pumped up as he usually is. Jose climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. Jose hands his title to Ed Richards.

And their tag team partner, hailing from Greenwich, Connecticut and weighing in at 215 pounds…he is the ROG X-Rated Champion…Jose!

“Old Time Rock N’ Roll” plays as Flair3 walks out from the back. Flair3 walks down the ramp, with his mind focused on Jose the entire walk down. Flair3 slides into the ring.

And their opponents, first, hailing from Montreal Quebec, Canada and weighing in at 200 pounds…Flair3!

He seems to have tunnel vision for Jose.

Almost every man on the roster does. He needs to get in line.

“Mr. Jones” starts up as Lojax enters the arena with his traditional hockey jersey on. Lojax walks half way down the ramp and takes off his jersey. Lojax tosses his jersey into the crowd and then walks down the rest of the ramp. Lojax slides into the ring and joins Flair3.

And his tag team partner, hailing from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada and weighing in at 122 pounds...Lojax!

The lights flicker on and off as “Pretender” plays. Black Dagger then emerges from the back with a huge bandage across his shoulder from the stake. Black Dagger slowly walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Black Dagger enters the ring.

Finally, hailing from Manchester, England and weighing in at 280 pounds…Black Dagger!

Black Dagger still sporting that bandage.

Jose stabbed him! He might have that bandage on for awhile to come.

Ding-ding-ding

Jose goes onto the apron with Bolton. Lee is in the ring. Lojax wants to get in the ring, but Dagger orders him to wait. Flair also goes on the apron with Lojax. Dagger and Lee walks to the middle of the ring. Neither man says a word. They stare eye to eye before Dagger hits the first strike to Lee’s face. Lee punches Dagger back. Dagger punches straight back and then receives a poke to the eye from Lee. Lee goes straight for the top rope and flips off; looking for a Moonsault, but Dagger catches him out of the air. Dagger holds Lee on his shoulder before slamming him into the mat with a Running Powerslam. Dagger sits up and glares directly at Jose. Dagger gets onto his feet and does the title around the waist signal. Dagger grins slightly. Jose tries to enter the ring, but Bolton keeps him from entering the ring. Dagger grabs Lee by the hair and picks him up off the mat. Dagger headbutts Lee in the face and then tosses him into Dagger’s corner. Dagger holds Lee in the corner with his boot and tags in Lojax.

Now the viciousness will start! Lojax and Matt Lee in the same ring can never lead to civilized manners!

Lojax grabs Lee and hits a flurry of shots. Lee stumbles backwards and gets him arms caught in the ropes. Lojax grins and then runs across the ropes. On the rebound, Bolton enters the ring and blindsides Lojax with a Spear. Bolton sets Lee free and drags him over to the corner. Bolton goes back onto the apron and tags himself in. Bolton grabs the top rope as Lojax gets back to his feet. Bolton leaps up and Springboards off to nails Lojax in the face with a Diving Forearm. Lojax falls back. Bolton covers Lojax. 1…broken up by Flair. Flair goes back onto the apron. Bolton gets to his feet and runs at Flair. Bolton hits Flair with a Bicycle Kick and knocks him off the apron. Dagger goes to enter the ring, but Ed Richards stops him. Jose rushes into the ring and lifts Lojax up. Dagger still has Ed Richards occupied. Jose has Lojax in a Spinebuster position. Bolton goes for the Super Kick, but Flair enters the ring and kicks Jose in the nuts. Jose drops Lojax and Bolton connects with Flair’s jaw. Flair rolls to the arena floor.

The miscommunication actually led to something good…

HA! Flair3 got hit! HA!

Lojax gets to his feet and returns the favor to Bolton with a Burning Lariat. Bolton falls and Lojax covers him. 1…2…kick out. Lojax gets to his feet and gets hit out of nowhere by a Springboard DDT from Lee. Dagger enters the ring and runs straight for Lee, but Lee takes Dagger down with a Drop Toe Hold. Dagger’s head rests on the middle rope as Lee runs across the ropes and connects with the 619. Lee leaps over the top rope and connects with a Leg Drop. Lee pushes Dagger to the outside with his legs and goes back to work on Lojax. Lee and Bolton are now both on their feet. Lee grabs Lojax and lifts him up. Lee whips Lojax into the corner and charges at him. Lojax ducks down and Lee hits the turnbuckle. Bolton runs as well and collides with Lee. Lojax kicks Bolton in the gut and then plants him into the mat with the 604 Driver. Lee turns around and gets taken down by a Northern Lariat. Lojax pushes Lee out to the arena floor and covers Bolton. 1…2…KICK OUT! Jose is seen climbing back onto his apron around the same time that Flair does. Lojax gets to his feet and grabs Bolton. Lojax lifts Bolton onto his shoulders and the lays him out with the 604 Slam. Jose rushes into the ring and tackles Lojax. Flair follows into the ring. Jose gets up and Flair lifts him up for a Spinebuster, but Jose goes right over Flair. Flair turns around and Jose goes for the Twist of Fate, but Flair pushes him off. Flair then attaches himself to Jose and goes for a Tornado DDT but Jose tosses Flair off this time. Flair runs at Jose and Jose grabs Flair. Jose jumps up and nails the Flip Bottom. Jose turns around and eats a Chokeslam from Lojax. Bodies are scattered in the ring.

The sanity of this match has completely dissolved. It’s now legal mayhem!

And it’s just so damn interesting…

Lee slides into the ring as Lojax covers Bolton. 1…2…Lee breaks it up. Lee pounds on Lojax’s neck and back before Dagger gets to his feet and enters the ring. Dagger lifts Lee up and onto his shoulders. Dagger nails Lee with the Wakey Wakey before tossing him to the outside. Jose gets back on his feet and connects with the Shining Wizard to Dagger. Jose then hits Dagger with a Standing Phoenix Splash. Flair goes back onto the apron and tags himself in. Everyone else is oblivious to this matter. Flair enters the ring and kicks Jose in the side of the head. Flair locks Jose in the Figure Four Leg Lock, which is quickly broken up by the other legal man, Bolton. Bolton lifts Flair up and kicks him in the chest. Bolton backs away and then approaches Flair. Bolton jumps up and goes for the New York Minute, but Flair counters with the Spinebuster in mid air. Flair covers Bolton. 1…2…Lee breaks up the cover. Lojax attacks Lee and they go to the arena floor. Dagger is now on his feet and he grabs Jose. Dagger lifts Jose up, but Jose swats Dagger’s arms back. Jose connects with a Spinning Wheel Kick, which sends Dagger to the arena floor. Jose climbs onto the top rope and nails Dagger with the Spiral Tap on the arena floor. Both men are now out.

That was way too risky for Jose in this predicament.

It looks like Bolton and Flair3 are the legal men and Bolton is already incredibly fatigued.

Flair lifts Bolton up and whips him across the ropes. Flair goes for a Clothesline, but Bolton ducks and avoids. Bolton keeps on running and leaps up. Bolton Springboards off and goes for the Stylin’ DDT, but Flair catches him. Flair has Bolton up on his shoulder before planting him into the mat with the Dead End Driver. Flair covers Bolton. 1…2…3! Lee is seen rushing into the ring to break the count, but it’s too late.

Here are your winners, by Pinfall…Flair3, Lojax, and Black Dagger!

“Old Time Rock N’ Roll” starts up again as Lojax slides into the ring and celebrates the victory with Flair3. Black Dagger and Jose are still laid out on the arena floor. Lojax and Flair3 exit the ring and walk up the ramp together, victorious.

That was one of the craziest matches that I’ve ever seen in ROG.

There was so much going on…the fact that the match has ended still doesn’t completely register with me.

My mind is in a haze…we’ll be right back with our Main Event for the evening.

Zachary will find himself in quite the predicament as he faces off against Ricky Reynolds up next.

And to think…mere months back he was jobbing with Tristian Artist and now he’s Main Eventing with the former World Champ! He’s come a very long way.

The new guys in ROG can certainly learn a thing or two from this man. David Simou must have some confidence in him to put him against Reynolds.

Or maybe he just wants Reynolds to stay in shape for his match against The Legend Killer? Who really knows?

“Always” starts up as Zachary nervously walks out from the back. Zachary walks down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps. Cheers are feint, but can be heard. Zachary enters the ring and awaits his opponent.

This contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Melbourn, Australia and weighing in at 256 pounds…Zachary!

He seems really worried about this match.

He should be. I don’t believe that he has had too much Main Event experience in ROG, so this might not turn out very well for him.

“Round and Round” starts up as Ricky Reynolds enters the arena and walks down the ramp to an ovation of boos. Ricky Reynolds climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. Zachary doesn’t back down.

And his opponent, hailing from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 215 pounds…Ricky Reynolds!

There is Meltdown’s pride and joy.

How so? He won the World Title once. And it’s not like he was a very honorable champion…

Ding-ding-ding

Zach and Reynolds stare each other down. Reynolds attempts to intimidate Zach early on and approaches him slowly, but Zach doesn’t back down and nails Reynolds in the jaw with a hard left. Reynolds backs away a few steps and grabs his chin. Reynolds seems angry now as he moves faster towards Zach. Zach exits the ring and runs around as Reynolds chases after him. Zach slides into the ring and runs across the ring. Zach slides out of the ring on the opposite side as Reynolds gets into the ring. Reynolds exits the ring and Zach slides right back in. Reynolds climbs onto the apron as Zach runs across the ring again. Reynolds turns around to the crowd and says “I’m too smart for that.” Zach doesn’t exit the ring and rebounds off the ropes. Zach then knocks Reynolds off the apron with a Shoulder Block. Reynolds goes flying off and catches his jaw on the ring barricade.

Look at Zachary! He’s showing some fight out there!

That’s more than just some fight, Trent. He just did what people like Erik Michaels and The Sound couldn’t do and that was gaining the upper hand on Ricky Reynolds early on.

Reynolds is on his feet, holding his jaw. Ed Richards is counting. 1…2…3…4…Reynolds faintly enters the ring and Zach moves forward. Reynolds rolls back out and leaps onto the apron. Reynolds grabs Zach’s head and hits him with a Guillotine. Zach flies back and Reynolds slides into the ring. Reynolds grabs Zach’s leg and goes to Lock in the Artery Jammer, but Zach kicks Reynolds off of him before he can apply it. Reynolds lifts Zach up and takes him right back down without delay with the Acid Dropper. Reynolds goes for the cover. 1…2…kick out. Reynolds grabs Zach by his hair and lifts him off the mat. Reynolds pushes Zach back into the corner and runs at him. Zach drops down and Reynolds’ shoulder connects with the ring post. Zach springs back up behind Reynolds and nails him with a Dragon Suplex. Reynolds’ neck folds on the mat as Zach covers him. 1…2…kick out!

Zachary is really proving himself here against the former world champ.

At least he’s proving why he deserves to be in the Rumble.

Zach picks Reynolds up and hits him with a few Straight-Edge Chops to the chest. Zach continuously chops away at Reynolds’ chest, brightening it steadily. Zach corners Reynolds and then lifts Reynolds’ feet onto the top rope. Reynolds’ body hangs off from the top rope and Zach is holding him. Zach smashes Reynolds into the mat with a Top Rope Elimination DDT. Reynolds is out on the ring mat. Zach walks over to the corner and squats down in preparation for an attack. Reynolds doesn’t revive quickly, so Zach comes out of the corner and lifts Reynolds onto his knees. Zach goes back to the corner and squats down again. Reynolds gets to his feet and Zach charges at him. Reynolds lifts up his knee and connects with the side of Zach’s head. Zach stands erect and stumbles back a bit. Zach turns around and falls on one knee. Reynolds runs at Zach and takes him down with the Daily Nose Bleed.

Looks like Ricky Reynolds has the One Shot Kill perfectly scouted.

I think that Zachary shouldn’t have helped Reynolds up. That was poor strategy and low patience.

Reynolds covers Zach. 1…2…kick out. Reynolds sits up and gets to his feet. Reynolds lifts Zach up and applies a Bearhug like hold. Reynolds holds Zach and squeezes. Reynolds lifts Zach off the mat now. Reynolds puts Zach back down and goes for the Coke Sneeze, but Zach elbows Reynolds in the side of the head. Reynolds releases Zach and Zach nails Reynolds in the face with a Superkick. Zach walks to the corner and scales the turnbuckle. Zach reaches the top and leaps off, nailing a Moonsault on Reynolds. Zach hooks the leg. 1…2…kick out! Zach lifts Reynolds up. Zach whips Reynolds into the corner. Zach runs at Reynolds and connects with a Shining Wizard, but Reynolds uses his ring wherewithal and tosses Zach over the top rope. Zach lands on the arena floor. Reynolds takes the padding off of the turnbuckle. Ed Richards snatches it away and goes to put it back on. Zach re-enters the ring and runs at Reynolds, only to get kicked in the crotch.

And Reynolds was playing so nice, too!

I just knew that you were going to say something…

Reynolds covers Zach. Ed Richards finishes putting the padding back on the turnbuckle and makes the count. 1…2…KICK OUT! Reynolds sits up and pulls his hair back with a shocked look on his face. The Legend Killer is then seen walking down the ramp with his title hung over his shoulder.

What the hell is he doing here?

Scouting his competition, perhaps?

The Legend Killer stares at Reynolds from the perimeter of the ring. Reynolds glares back at Reynolds. Reynolds approaches the ropes and he exchanges words with The Legend Killer. Zach gets back to his feet and is crouching behind Reynolds. The Legend Killer backs away from the ring and Reynolds turns around. Zach runs at Reynolds, but Reynolds moves out of the way and avoids the One Shot Kill. Reynolds sends Zach into the turnbuckle, but Zach catches himself. Reynolds goes right back to the ropes and yells at The Legend Killer a bit more. Reynolds starts stomping on the mat and orders The Legend Killer to get in the ring with him. The Legend Killer refuses and Reynolds says, “Fine! Then watch what’s going to happen to you at “A New Dawn!” Reynolds turns around and Zach scoops him up onto his shoulders. Zach spins Reynolds out and nails him with the Total Elimination. Zach quickly jumps on top of Reynolds and covers him. 1…2…3!

Here is your winner, by Pinfall…Zachary!

“Always” starts up again as Zachary gets his arm raised in victory. Zachary is in complete shock. The Legend Killer slides into the ring and raises Zachary’s arm in victory as well. The Legend Killer and Zachary continue celebrating in the ring.

What an excellent showing by Zachary. Hell, he should be in the title hunt now. He defeated the #1 Contender!

Only because The Legend Killer distracted him and you know it!

Not like Ricky Reynolds hasn’t done that before. You never mention it then, now do you!?

Whatever. Zachary can’t beat Ricky Reynolds fairly. Bottom line.

Of course it is, pal. Either way, Meltdown has come to a conclusion. Thanks for watching everyone! For now, I’m Percy Chapman here with Trent Heart. Goodnight everyone!

Zachary and The Legend Killer continue to celebrate in the ring as the crowd cheers and “Always” plays. Ricky Reynolds is out cold on the mat next to them. The last image is The Legend Killer holding his title over Reynolds and saying, “You can’t have this!” The screen then fades to black…
